Donald Trump and Elon Musk let Sean Hannity in on a secret that Democrats will hate

President Trump handed Elon Musk a mission to cut trillions of dollars in wasteful spending.
Trump and Musk knew they were facing the combined might of the D.C. swamp.
And Donald Trump and Elon Musk let Sean Hannity in on a secret that Democrats will hate.
The Democrat Party and the media know they don’t have many arrows in their quiver to fire at Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
DOGE is slashing spending by canceling contracts and firing deep state bureaucrats.
And DOGE is also exposing the corrupt manipulation of taxpayer money by Democrats as they redirect money from the treasury to fund a private army of left-wing activist groups here and abroad by posting all the examples of waste, fraud and abuse on social media.
Democrats weaponized the courts to try and slow down DOGE.
But the Left is also playing mind games hoping a constant drumbeat of coverage about “President Musk” will cause Trump to snap and exile Musk.
Sean Hannity put this question about if the media could succeed in driving a wedge between Trump and Musk to the test in a joint interview that he conducted.
“You’re both aware, you have to be keenly aware that the media and the punditry class – I think you’ve proven they have no power anymore because they threw everything they had at you and they didn’t win. And that was, you know, The New York Times, Washington Post, three networks, every late-night comedy show on cable channels,” Hannity said to Trump and Musk.
“They just, they threw everything. Lawfare, weaponization. And now I see They want you two – they want a divorce. They want you two to start hating each other. And they try. Oh, President Elon Musk, for example. You do know that they’re doing that to you?” Hannity then went on to ask.
Trump’s answer left no doubt that he understood the psyop the media was running with their talk of “President Musk” and that it was in one ear and out the other for him.
If the media was any good at running anti-Trump operations, Trump reasoned he never would have been elected in the first place.
“I see it all the time. They tried it. Then they stopped. They have many different things of hatred. Actually, Elon called me. He said, you know, they’re trying to drive us apart. I said, absolutely. No, they said, We have breaking news. Donald Trump has ceded control of the presidency to Elon Musk. President Musk will be attending a cabinet meeting tonight at eight o’clock. And I say, it’s just so obvious. It’s so bad. I used to think they were good at it. They’re actually bad at it because if they were good at it, I’d never be president,” Trump stated.
Trump faced comically high levels of negative coverage all because the media made their mission to keep Trump out of the White House.
That meant Trump was used to the media writing hit pieces for the sake of writing hit pieces so this latest story about “President Musk” was just the latest press hoax.
“Because I think nobody in history has ever gotten more bad publicity than me. I could do the greatest things. I get 98% bad publicity I could do outside of you. Few of your very good friends, right? It’s like the craziest thing. But you know what I have learned, Elon? The people are smart. They get it,” Trump added.
Musk agreed with Trump and said the American people could see through this transparent attempt to stop the Trump agenda, which is why the “President Musk” storyline was doomed to fail.
“Yeah, they do, actually,” Musk replied to Trump.
