Chris Cuomo Texted Adam Carolla to Complain About an Old Clip and Got Destroyed Instead

Chris Cuomo got fired after lying to protect his brother and now he is upset that his old COVID takes keep resurfacing.
He texted comedian Adam Carolla to complain about it.
Carolla answered him live on air in words Cuomo will not forget anytime soon.
Carolla Turns Cuomo's Own COVID Words Against Him
Adam Carolla posted a video this week revealing that Chris Cuomo texted him directly after Carolla retweeted an old clip of Cuomo's pandemic-era commentary.
Cuomo was not happy.
Carolla was not interested in an apology tour.
He fired back at Cuomo in a text message he then read out loud to his audience.
Carolla told Cuomo, in a message he later read out loud on camera, that Cuomo had said a lot of reckless things during COVID and that regular people paid a real price for the confident nonsense pushed by hosts exactly like him.
Carolla did not stop there.
He told Cuomo that if he did not want people replaying his greatest COVID hits, he had one option available to him back in 2020.
Shut up.
Perhaps he should have shut his mouth back then, Carolla told him, instead of lecturing the entire country with total confidence about a virus nobody understood.
Millions of Americans lost jobs, businesses, and years of their kids' education to people who talked exactly like Chris Cuomo in 2020.
They do not get a redo.
Neither does he.

The Scandal That Actually Ended Cuomo's Career at CNN
Cuomo was not just some pandemic talking head who got a few predictions wrong.
CNN fired him in December of 2021 after it came out that he had been secretly helping his brother, then-Governor Andrew Cuomo, strategize a response to sexual harassment allegations.
He did this while sitting behind a CNN anchor desk pretending to cover the news straight.
His own network's internal investigators later revealed just how deep his involvement went.
He was not a neutral reporter during COVID.
He was a Cuomo family operative with a live microphone, using it to build his brother into a pandemic folk hero while burying every story that threatened him.
Conservatives remember exactly how that ended.
Andrew Cuomo's administration was later accused of covering up thousands of nursing home COVID deaths tied to his own order forcing infected patients back into care facilities.
Chris Cuomo spent that entire stretch treating his brother like a conquering hero on national television.
Now the same guy wants Adam Carolla to pretend none of it happened.
That is not a media mistake.
That is a cover-up run through a cable news chair, and it is the real reason Cuomo lost his job, not some unlucky prediction he got wrong.
Adam Carolla was never on that payroll, and he never pretended to be a neutral referee during COVID.
That difference is exactly why Cuomo picked the wrong guy to text when he got upset.
Why Cuomo Cannot Escape His Own Receipts
This is not really about one clip or one text message.
It is about a media class that spent years demanding total obedience on COVID, got almost everything wrong, and now wants amnesty the moment their old clips resurface.
Chris Cuomo built his entire brand on confident, condescending certainty about a virus that killed grandparents in nursing homes his own brother helped fill.
He does not get to text a comedian and demand the internet forget that.
Adam Carolla built his career refusing to pretend experts were always right, and this exchange is exactly why his audience trusts him more than any Cuomo brother ever again.
