Border Czar Tom Homan Just Exposed Dana Bash With One Blunt CNN Answer

ICE agents had Milo Yiannopoulos on a deportation flight less than twenty four hours after arresting him.
Border czar Tom Homan told CNN days later that blistering pace is now the standard playbook.
What Homan said next about clearing out detention beds left CNN host Dana Bash with nowhere to go.
Homan Tells Dana Bash the Fast Deportation Was Not Special Treatment
Dana Bash opened by pointing out that Yiannopoulos went from arrested to deported in under 24 hours.
She framed it like the administration fast-tracked him for a reason.
Homan didn't take the bait.
He told her flat out: "We've been working steadily the last few months on getting people out quicker. That way, it saves the taxpayers' money and detention space."
Then he said the line that will end up in every immigration briefing for the next year.
"Get them out quick," Homan said. "Open those beds up for more detainees to be held."
That is not a threat.
That is a business plan.
Every illegal alien with a final deportation order is now on the same clock Yiannopoulos was on.
Yiannopoulos missed his own immigration hearing back in July, and that missed date is what triggered his removal order in the first place.
He skipped court, a judge signed an order, and ICE did exactly what it is now doing to everyone else with a final order on file.

Bash Tries Three Angles and Homan Shuts Down Every One
Bash pivoted fast once the Yiannopoulos line didn't land the way she wanted.
She brought up Haitians with Temporary Protected Status being sent back to a country the administration itself calls dangerous.
Homan didn't blink.
"When people are ordered deported, they can't stay here," he said. "They're going to go home."
Bash raised claims of rough treatment during a tarmac removal next.
Homan turned the conversation back to his own officers, noting threats against ICE agents are up more than 9,000 percent and actual attacks are up 1,400 percent.
His answer to nearly everything Bash threw at him was the same.
"We're just enforcing the law," Homan said. "And we're doing it in a way that the American people voted for."

Biden Let 3.5 Million Walk Free. Homan Is Building 92,600 Reasons That Never Happens Again
Homan wasn't spinning anything on that CNN set.
He was just describing what happens now when you break immigration law in this country, and that plain-spoken honesty is exactly what should fire up every American watching.
Compare that to the last administration.
Nearly 3.5 million people were released into the United States since January 2021, and one former immigration judge testified he could not verify that even a single person he ordered removed was actually deported.
More than three-quarters of the illegal aliens Border Patrol caught in December 2023 walked right back onto American streets, waiting on hearings that, for millions of them, never came.
Immigration analyst Jessica Vaughan told the House Oversight Committee the cost of "providing services to illegal migrants…has already run into the tens of billions."
Cartels noticed the pattern too, and started profiting more off smuggling people than smuggling drugs because catch and release made the outcome predictable every time.
That is the exact machine Homan is now dismantling.
ICE is building toward 92,600 detention beds under a $38.3 billion expansion, designed to move people through in three to seven days instead of years, with Acting Director Todd Lyons still tracking 1.6 million final deportation orders and roughly 800,000 of those already tied to people with criminal convictions.
Homan telling CNN to open the beds up isn't cold.
It's the first administration in years actually finishing the job voters hired it to do.
Dana Bash came looking for a gotcha and left with a policy briefing she never wanted.
