Many Americans consider Karine Jean-Pierre the worst White House press secretary in history.
Jean-Pierre can’t answer any question more difficult than one tossed slow pitch softball speed unless she has a prepared answer in her ever-present binder.
Donald Trump winning the 2024 election means he gets to put an entirely new team in place.
And one of the plum positions is who will succeed Jean-Pierre as White House press secretary.
Some early names floated as possibilities were CNN commentator Scott Jennings and Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.
But a new favorite just emerged.
A bombshell report by Mediaite revealed that Trump legal spokeswoman Alina Habba is atop the short list to serve as White House press secretary.
“Alina Habba, a lawyer who represented Donald Trump in a series of high-profile cases, has emerged as a front-runner to serve as press secretary in the incoming White House, four sources told Mediaite,” Mediaite exclusively reported.
Habba will reportedly travel to Mar-a-Lago to meet with the Trump transition team to discuss the possibility of her taking the role of White House press secretary.
“One source, granted anonymity to speak about internal deliberations, said there are ongoing discussions with Habba about the job but it remains unclear whether she will take it. “She’s expected to be at Mar-a-Lago this week for conversations regarding a potential role,” a source also told Mediaite.
Alina Habba’s experience defending Trump
No one in America got more experience in the last year defending Donald Trump than Alina Habba.
Habba defended Doanld Trump in court in the rigged show trials brought Letitia James in the civil fraud suit and E. Jean Carrol’s defamation suit.
In addition, Habba appeared on television in the capacity as Trump’s legal spokeswoman.
The lawfare Democrats waged against Donald Trump backfired politically – Trump’s poll numbers went up after the Left brought each new case and voters rejected the lawfare at the ballot box – in part because Habba’s media presence helped win the battle in the court of public opinion.
One Trump insider said this experience served as the best proving ground possible for the job of White House press secretary.
“Donald Trump is the premier programmer and producer-in-chief, he casts for the on-air roles,” the source said. “Alina is camera-ready and tested on day one. But more importantly she’s battle tested after being in the frontlines with POTUS the last four years.”
Habba – who first met Trump at his Bedminster golf course – is also close with the Trump family.
“It doesn’t hurt that she’s close with the family and well-liked within,” the source added.
After the Jen Psaki and Karine Jean-Pierre disasters, Americans are ready for a competent press secretary who can convey accurate information while fighting back against the media’s lies.
Aliba Habba could very well be the pick to serve in that capacity.
