Fauci’s Diary Just Exposed Lindsey Graham Days Before His Sister Faces South Carolina Voters

Rand Paul just released the pages Anthony Fauci prayed nobody would read.

Buried inside those pages was a phone call Lindsey Graham made against Trump himself.

Now his sister is asking South Carolina to trust the Graham name one more time.

The Diary Entry Graham Never Wanted Published

Fauci wrote it in his own hand. Georgia broke first from the lockdown consensus, and it enraged him.

Lindsey Graham picked up the phone. He told Fauci he was afraid President Trump would not push back against Georgia's governor for reopening the state.

Fauci did not need the senator's permission. "I do not need him to tell me to do that," Fauci wrote of Graham's call.

Graham promised Fauci he would handle it. He kept that promise, working the phones against his own president's reopening push while Americans sat locked in their homes.

This was not a rumor.

This was not a leaked memo from an anonymous staffer.

This was Fauci's own diary, in his own words, describing Graham as an ally against Trump.

Fauci's own pages show he privately took credit for the lockdowns he publicly denied ordering. Graham's phone call fits that same pattern, an establishment senator quietly reinforcing the very restrictions his own voters were begging Trump to end.

Norman Leads While Graham Fights the Family Name

Lindsey Graham died July 11. His sister Darline Graham was sworn in three days later, appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to hold the seat until January.

Trump endorsed her within a week. He said there would be "nobody better to honor the legacy of her beloved brother, Lindsey."

The polls disagree with him. Rep. Ralph Norman leads Darline Graham by three points in the latest Emerson College survey, with the Aug. 11 primary bearing down fast.

Norman is not waiting for permission either. "Not politicians who fold when the pressure comes," he said, drawing a direct line between himself and the Graham legacy he wants voters to reject.

Norman's record on this goes back further than this campaign. He introduced the original 2020 White Coat Summit outside the Supreme Court, the event where doctors first broke publicly with lockdown orthodoxy while Graham was quietly pushing Fauci in the opposite direction.

Norman kept at it long after the cameras left. He signed onto legislation stripping vaccine makers of their liability shield.

Sens. Rick Scott and Mike Lee have already lined up behind him. Former Gov. Mark Sanford is in the race too, warning Republicans about deficit spending while the Graham name tries to carry a ninth candidate over the finish line.

South Carolina Republicans built their movement on distrust of exactly the kind of Washington maneuvering Fauci just described. Darline Graham is running to inherit a seat her brother held for five terms, and voters just got a diary entry reminding them how he used it.

What Fauci's Diary Means For The Graham Legacy

Trump built his 2020 reopening push on one bet: that Republican governors and Republican senators would back him against the bureaucrats. Fauci's own diary says Lindsey Graham wasn't in that fight. He was working the other side of it, quietly, while Georgia took the political risk alone.

That is the legacy Darline Graham is asking voters to extend for six more years, one week before they decide.

The contrast writes itself. One candidate spent decades inside the Graham machine. The other is telling South Carolina Republicans he will not fold when Washington leans on him, the same pressure his own diary now shows Lindsey Graham caved to in 2020.

South Carolina voters built a reputation for punishing exactly this kind of establishment comfort. Aug. 11 will tell Trump, and the rest of the country, whether the Graham name still means something in the Palmetto State or whether Fauci's diary arrived just in time to end it.

Ralph Norman does not need to say Lindsey Graham's name once. Every voter in that primary already knows exactly whose legacy is on the ballot, and now they know what that legacy actually did behind closed doors.
