An AOC-Backed Democrat Just Trashed America’s Founding Steps From Independence Hall

AOC's Squad is about to grow by one more democratic socialist headed to Washington.
Philadelphia Democrat Chris Rabb just used his victory lap to attack the document that founded the country.
What he said about the Declaration of Independence just steps from where it was signed will leave conservatives fuming.
Rabb Called America A Nation Born On Stolen Land
Chris Rabb is the Democrat nominee for Pennsylvania's Third Congressional District.
He is running unopposed this November.
On June 26, Rabb took the stage at a Philadelphia panel devoted to what organizers billed as historical erasure and the fight over America's founding story.
The event was held at People's Plaza on Independence Mall, near Independence Hall.
That is the building where the Declaration of Independence was adopted 250 years ago.
For a man about to represent that city in Congress, delivering the speech steps from where the Founders signed the Declaration made the moment harder to ignore.
Rabb told the crowd the document was never a symbol of freedom.
He argued it let a privileged class lock in its power, then cement that advantage decades later through the Constitution.
"This is a nation born on stolen land and stolen labor," Rabb said.
Rabb also trashed capitalism, billionaires, and the very idea of American exceptionalism in the same appearance.
He told the audience fascism is built into the very fabric of the country.
Even the American dream got torched.
Rabb dismissed it as a myth, alongside the Protestant work ethic, both things he says must be discarded before real change can happen.
Among his progressive allies in the room, his remarks drew applause rather than pushback.
No Republican On The Ballot To Stop Him
Pennsylvania's Third District is the bluest House seat in the entire country.
Rabb faces no opponent on the ballot this fall.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has personally endorsed him.
He also picked up backing from Justice Democrats, the Sunrise Movement, the Working Families Party, and the Democratic Socialists of America.
Breitbart identifies Rabb as a five-term Pennsylvania lawmaker who has consistently aligned himself with the party's most progressive causes.
He is a self-described democratic socialist, and Third District voters are unlikely to hear any organized opposition to his views before Election Day.
Reparations Are Rabb's Next Move
Rabb used the same panel to push reparations as a top priority in Congress.
He called himself one of the few unapologetic supporters of reparations heading to Congress.
To Rabb, reparations are not simply about repaying black Americans for slavery.
He described them as a way to rebuild society itself, framing the payout as something that would ultimately benefit everyone, not just the recipients.
Strip away the language of justice and what is left is a massive wealth transfer.
Online reaction to Rabb's remarks was swift, with critics outside his own coalition calling the speech an embarrassment for a man about to represent Philadelphia in Congress.
Why This Matters Ahead Of America's 250th Birthday
Rabb picked a strange year to torch the Declaration of Independence.
The nation turns 250 in one day.
This was never going to be a one-off rant from one obscure state lawmaker.
Conservative researchers have already tracked a broader push on the far left to frame America's founding as illegitimate ahead of the anniversary, rejecting the Founders' vision of limited government built on God-given rights.
That same push includes calls to extend voting rights to noncitizens, abolish the Electoral College, and strip power from the Supreme Court, all in the name of finishing what the Declaration supposedly failed to deliver.
Rabb is simply saying the quiet part out loud, months before he takes a seat in Congress.
He is not an outlier in his own party.
He is a preview of who Democrats are sending to Washington next.
Millions of Americans will spend this Fourth of July grilling out, watching fireworks, and celebrating 250 years of the very liberty Rabb just called a myth.
Chris Rabb will be doing something else entirely.
He will be laying the groundwork to tear down the ideas that built the country he is about to help govern.
