Gutfeld Handed Jill Biden Two Choices on The Five and Both Are Brutal

Jill Biden just admitted she watched her husband on that debate stage and thought he was having a stroke.
Then she took him to Waffle House.
What Gutfeld said to her face in response is the one thing she cannot answer.
What Jill Biden Actually Said
The former first lady sat down with CBS News this week to promote her upcoming memoir, View from the East Wing, and delivered what she clearly intended as a sympathetic confession. She told interviewer Rita Braver that watching Joe Biden's June 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump terrified her. "I don't know what happened," she said. "As I watched it, I thought, 'Oh, my God, he's having a stroke.' And it scared me to death."
She said she had never ever seen her husband like that before or since – and said none of it publicly for nearly two years.
What she did do publicly, within hours of that debate, was stand on a stage in front of Biden supporters and say: "Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts."
Then she asked the crowd what Trump did.
Gutfeld Dropped the Verdict the Whole Country Was Thinking
Greg Gutfeld wasn't buying a word of it on The Five.
"You can't go from covering up this mess to being shocked by this mess," he said.
Then he cut straight to what every conservative watching already understood.
"I think she was relieved that Joe was having a stroke because it was proof of life."
Then he delivered the line that will follow Jill Biden for the rest of her public career.
"If you thought he was having a stroke, you did nothing. So either you're lying or you're just a really bad person. You put politics ahead of the health of a country, but also ahead of the health of a human being. You would rather let this guy die to complete a campaign?"
There is no third option.
Either Jill Biden panicked in private, decided her political ambitions mattered more than her husband's health, and spent two years lying to the American public – or she wasn't actually that scared, and she's lying about being scared now to sell books.
The Cover-Up That Goes All the Way Up
This wasn't just Jill Biden operating alone.
Chairman James Comer's House Oversight Committee put it in writing last fall – that Biden's inner circle "colluded to mislead the public" and took "extraordinary measures to sustain the appearance of presidential authority as Biden's capacity to function independently diminished."
Fox News obtained White House visitor logs showing that Democratic leaders who most loudly defended Biden's sharpness – the same ones now scrambling to rewrite history – were frequent White House guests.
They saw it.
Josh Shapiro told supporters publicly to "stop worrying" about Biden's electability while telling the president privately something very different, according to Politico.
Pete Buttigieg called Biden a "focused and disciplined leader" right after the debate.
Joe Scarborough had declared on air that Biden was "far beyond cogent" and "better than he has ever been" – three months before the debate.
Every one of them knew. Every one of them lied.
CNN's Abby Phillip put it plainly this week: "What kind of political system covers that up? And makes it okay to lie to people about what everybody knows is true?"

They Watched a Man Decline and Called You a Liar for Noticing
Here's what actually happened to you.
For years – not months, years – you watched Joe Biden stumble through sentences, lose his train of thought, wander off stages. You said something was wrong. You were called a conspiracy theorist. A MAGA extremist. An ageist.
The House Oversight Committee found that Biden's aides reportedly discussed putting him in a wheelchair but decided to wait until after the election so it wouldn't hurt the campaign.
They discussed a wheelchair. And they hid it.
Senator Eric Schmitt said Biden's decline "did not suddenly begin in June of 2024. It was a persistent and obvious truth that was evident for years to anyone who was willing to see it."
You were willing to see it.
Jill Biden wasn't willing to tell you.
Now she wants $30 for the book where she explains why.
Gutfeld nailed the only question that matters: if you believed your husband was having a stroke and you still put him back on the campaign trail, what exactly were you protecting? It wasn't Joe Biden. It wasn't the country. It was the title, the airplane, and four more years of being the most powerful woman in a White House she ran because her husband couldn't.
The American people were the last to know. They always are when Democrats are in charge.
