Tulsi Gabbard is one of Donald Trump’s nominees that the Swamp is scheming to stop.

But the Swamp got some bad news in this fight.

And that’s because Tulsi Gabbard picked up one endorsement that had her jumping for joy.

The deep state went into panic mode after Trump nominated Tulsi Gabbard to serve as Director of National Intelligence.

The Director of National Intelligence puts together the President’s daily intelligence brief.

Gabbard in that role meant the establishment couldn’t install a Swamp loyalist in the position to feed Trump cherry picked intelligence that supported the D.C. consensus on forever wars and America’s position in globalist alliances like NATO.

In addition, Gabbard supports ending illegal warrantless spying like the FBI used to target Donald Trump’s campaign during the Russia collusion hoax.

Gabbard left the Democrat Party in 2022 over woke politics and the war in Iraq.

Gabbard endorsed Donald Trump and served as one of his key campaign surrogates helping swing the traditionally Democrat voters that helped Donald Trump become the first Republican since 2004 to win the popular vote.

The media and Senate RINOs tried to tank Gabbard by claiming she was a Russian spy and sympathizer of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad all because Gabbard opposed a regime change war in Syria and the war in Ukraine.

Al Qaeda affiliated rebels taking over Syria only buttressed the case that Gabbard was right to oppose America starting a new war in Syria.

Gabbard’s confirmation chances likely came down to one Senator – Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

Cotton is the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Cotton is also a warmonger who is a close ally of Donald Trump.

If Cotton came out and endorsed Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence, it would all but guarantee her confirmation.

Cotton did just that by posting on social media that he expected the GOP-run Senate to confirm all of President-elect Trump’s nominees.

“I expect our Republican Senate is going to confirm all of President Trump’s nominees,” Cotton wrote on social media. “Of the 72 cabinet secretary nominees since the Clinton transition, only 2 nominees have ever received NO votes from the president-elect’s party. No one should be surprised that the Republican Senate will confirm President Trump’s nominees.”

The Bulwark’s Marc Caputo is one of the best sourced reporters in Trump world.

Caputo wrote that Trump’s advisors breathed a sigh of relief over Cotton’s statement.

“Cotton’s views on Gabbard in particular were the subject of intense interest among Senate insiders. On Monday, Cotton offered a statement of support for the DNI pick, whose past remarks about now-deposed Syrian despot Bashar al-Assad have alarmed the intelligence community,” Caputo reported.

“Without Cotton, we’re f***. But Cotton is with us,” a Trump advisor working on Gabbard’s confirmation told Caputo. “It’s big.”

And right on cue, establishment RINOs who expressed skepticism about Gabbard’s nomination expressed positive sentiments after meeting with Gabbard.

“Good to sit down with @TulsiGabbard, President Trump’s nominee to be Director of National Intelligence. As a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, I am looking forward to working with her as she continues to move through the confirmation process. Excellent first meeting,” Oklahoma RINO James Lankford wrote on X.

“I had a great meeting with @TulsiGabbard today and we covered a lot of ground. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Senate Intelligence Committee for years, and I understand how important the Director of National Intelligence is for our country,” RINO South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds wrote on X.
