The Democrat Party is going to hate this news.

But there may be nothing they can do about it.

And Trey Gowdy found one loophole that will let Donald Trump serve a third term.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James and other Democrat prosecutors waging lawfare against Donald Trump created blowback among voters who re-elected Donald Trump to stop the weaponization of the justice system.

James sued Trump in an obviously bogus civil fraud suit in a case where there were no victims.

Yet a Democrat judge awarded James a $464 million judgement in the hopes of bankrupting Trump and allowing James to seize Trump’s properties, starting with Trump Tower.

The election ended this legal terrorism.

James, however, didn’t appear to get the message and declared she stood at the ready to launch a new round of lawfare against Trump in his second term.

“I am ready to do everything in my power to ensure our state and nation do not go backwards,” a statement from James read.

“Together with Governor Hochul, our partners in state and local government, and my colleague attorneys general from throughout the nation, we will work each and every day to defend Americans, no matter what this new administration throws at us. We are ready to fight back again,” James’ statement continued.

Fox News host Harris Faulkner asked host Trey Gowdy what he thought of the fact that James’ first reaction to Trump’s landslide re-election was to promise more lawfare.

“I had forgotten how much they had thrown at him until just this moment, I mean I hadn’t been focused on that in the last 10 days or so. But when you look at it stacked like that, and add onto that Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York, who said just this week she plans to go after him. She campaigned on trying to get Trump, what do you make of all of it?” Faulkner inquired.

Gowdy welcomed this talk.

Republicans won total control of government in part because Americans were sick of Democrats enlisting partisan prosecutors to terrorize Donald Trump.

Democrats like James didn’t understand that and kept pursuing political show trials against Trump.  Gowdy warned Republicans would win so many seats in the 2026 midterms that they would have majorities big enough in Congress and the states to amend the Constitution so Donald Trump could run for a third term in 2028.

“Keep talking, keep doing it. That’s exactly why you got hammered… Keep doing that. Keep using our justice system as a political weapon and he may, who knows, they may amend the constitution and let him serve a third term. We may get a super majority in the House and the Senate if these coastal elite liberals continue their thought process when it comes to our justice system,” Gowdy declared.

The 22nd Amendment of the Constitution limits a President to two terms.

It takes a two-thirds majority in Congress to propose an amendment to the Constitution.

From there three-fourths of the states need to vote to ratify.

This is done either by a vote in the state legislature or a Constitutional convention depending on how Congress words the amendment.

Trey Gowdy boasted that if Democrats continue lawfare, the GOP may win enough seats in Congress and state legislatures to hit those magic numbers.
