Republicans expect their elected officials to unite around Donald Trump in the face of the Democrat lawfare against him.

But conservatives got some bad news.

And this RINO traitor sold out Trump to Alvin Bragg.

House Republicans fully fund Trump witch hunts

In the wake of former President Donald Trump’s sham conviction in the rigged Manhattan show trial, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) vowed to use the power of the purse to “rein in” rogue prosecutors like Special Counsel Jack Smith.

But when the rubber met the road, Johnson and his fellow establishment RINOs folded.

The House Appropriations Committee introduced a spending bill for the Department of Justice that fully funds Jack Smith’s dual witch hunts against Trump as well as keeps every penny of funding in place for the offices of rogue prosecutors Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

“Republicans on the House Appropriations Committee on Tuesday morning rolled out a large funding package that includes Justice Department spending for the next fiscal year. But the 158-page bill doesn’t include language targeting a special counsel’s ability to investigate a current or former president, or DOJ’s ability to appoint them,” POLITICO exclusively reported.

“In addition to not explicitly targeting special counsel Jack Smith, the bill also doesn’t delve into the state-level cases against Trump or go after grant funding to those offices, such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis,” POLITICO also reported.

A betrayal of Donald Trump

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) crafted language withholding funding from prosecutors who targeted former Presidents for prosecution.

Rank-and-file Republican voters uniformly expect their elected officials to wield the power available to them to fight back against President Joe Biden’s weaponized Justice Department.

Conservatives are tired of strongly worded letters and theatrics on Fox News.

Trump supporters expect action.

And Speaker Johnson and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) gave Biden a free pass to wage lawfare against their party’s nominee for President.

Neither Cole nor Johnson sought to hold Bragg and Smith accountable for interfering in the 2024 Election.

Bragg still wants a gag order kept in place that will prevent Donald Trump from defending himself against attacks by Joe Biden at the CNN debate under threat of jail time.

Jack Smith filed a request for a gag order to block Donald Trump from criticizing the FBI and Department of Justice which would also bar him from responding to Joe Biden’s political attacks in the debate.

Conservatives believe the attempt by Smith and Bragg to abuse the legal system for Biden’s political gain requires a response by Congressional Republicans.

But rather than fight, Speaker Johnson is once again surrendering to Joe Biden just like he did on the debt ceiling and the previous round of government funding talks.
