Rachel Maddow was beside herself.

But Maddow let her Trump Derangement Syndrome get the better of her.

And Rachel Maddow will live to regret using one word to attack Donald Trump.

The highlight of President Trump’s speech to Congress was when President Trump told the story of DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old diagnosed with brain cancer and who always dreamed of being a police officer.

“[DJ] has always dreamed of becoming a police officer,” Trump began. “But in 2018, DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer.”

DJ defied the doctor’s prognosis that he only had five months to live.

“The doctors gave him five months at most to live,” Trump continued. “That was more than six years ago. Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true.”

At that point, Trump instructed the head of the Secret Service to go up to where DJ and his father were sitting and swear in DJ as an honorary Secret Service agent.

MSNBC disgraced itself in covering this heartwarming moment.

Host Nicole Wallace actually said she hoped DJ didn’t kill himself if he grew up and had to fight off Trump supporters staging another January 6 style event.

Rachel Maddow called President Trump making a 13-year-old’s dream come true “disgusting.”

“For the record—and this is disgusting—the President made a spectacle out of praising a young man who thus far survived pediatric cancer, as if the President had something to do with that,” Maddow added.

It takes a real heartless individual to dump all over a child with cancer getting a moment in front of a television audience of tens of millions of Americans.

Maddow’s callus remarks looked even more disgraceful the following day when DJ and his father Theodis visited President Trump in the Oval Office.

“There’s one more thing I got for you – a big hug,” DJ said to the President before giving him a big hug.

President Trump was clearly touched.

“That’s very nice,” Trump told DJ.

“What a good-looking family,” Trump said of DJ, his father and his two sisters.

DJ showed up in the Oval Office wearing the same police office uniform he wore at President Trump’s speech.

Maddow found this entire scene “disgusting.”

Normal people found it touching.

But Democrats are so consumed with hating Donald Trump that they can’t put their feelings aside and feel happy for a child diagnosed with cancer seeing his dream realized when the odds and all the experts said he would never live this long.
