Should the US get out of the UN?

When the US joined the UN, many Americans questioned whether it would subvert American sovereignty.

Over the years, after involvement in numerous UN-inspired wars and international conflicts, Congressmen like Ron Paul, Paul Broun, and Roscoe Bartlett have all sponsored and cosponsored bills like the “American Sovereignty Restoration Act” to pull the US out of the UN.

Rep. Paul warned, “American national sovereignty cannot survive if we allow our domestic laws to be crafted or even influenced by an international body […] If we continue down the UN path, America as we know it will cease to exist.”
