Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth knew it was time to take a stand.

The jackals in the pro-Democrat Party media found their latest hoax.

And Pete Hegseth just shut down this fake news media lie.

President Trump’s first term began with the worst political hoax in American history.

That was the lie cooked up by the Hillary Clinton campaign that Donald Trump colluded with Russia in the election which the FBI and the media weaponized to stage a coup in the hopes of removing Donald Trump from power.

Adam Schiff spent nearly three years living on cable television sets spreading this lie.

Neither the media nor the Democrat Party apparently learned their lesson from the public humiliation both suffered when the Mueller witch hunt ended in a dud.

That’s because Donald Trump’s second term is beginning just like his first with Democrats and the media claiming President Trump is in hock to Vladimir Putin.

The genesis of this latest hoax is President Trump’s plan to end the war.

The plan acknowledges the reality on the ground that Ukraine will have to give up territory under Russian control for peace.

The United States would also bar Ukraine from NATO membership.

And the United States wouldn’t provide a security guarantee for Ukraine as such a guarantee would commit the United States to war with Russia in the event that Russia violated the peace agreement.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky blew up a step in this peace plan by coming to the Oval Office under the pretext of signing a rare earth minerals deal and instead lecturing President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance about how America hadn’t done enough for Ukraine.

President Trump responded by pausing military aid to Ukraine and cutting off access to American intelligence.

Fake news media outlet the Washington Post peppered Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth with questions about Trump being “pro-Russia.”

Hegseth swatted down this hoax calling it “garbage.”

“To the previous question from the Washington Post, the press is interested in narratives. Our president is interested in peace. So we will get characterized one way or another, oh your stance is pro-Russia or pro the- it’s all garbage.”

Hegseth explained that all President Trump cares about is striking a peace deal to end this war and its senseless killing.

“The president got elected to bring peace in this conflict and he is working with both sides in a way that only President Trump can, let’s be clear, only President Trump can to bring them to the table to end the killing. And I can tell you from being behind the scenes, he is laser focused on making that happen and we’re closer today than we’ve ever been because of his leadership. Thank you very much press,” Hegseth concluded.

The issue with a peace deal right now is Zelensky.

Zelensky keeps throwing up obstacles with the latest being a video Zelensky filmed where he appeared to denounce the idea of negotiations entirely.

President Trump isn’t being pro-Russia when he takes steps to pressure Zelensky to come to the negotiating table.

President Trump is being pro-peace.
