And Pete Hegseth destroyed this woke Obama judge with one simple request.

U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes in Washington, D.C asserted that she is the supreme authority on military readiness in the United States Armed Forces and that President Trump just pretends to be Commander in Chief.

President Trump issued a common-sense executive order banning transgenders from the armed forces.

The executive order explained that transgenders undergo medical procedures that remove them from active duty for extended periods of time.

President Trump’s executive order also explained that transgenders can’t meet the military’s requirement for honorable service because they are pretending to be another sex and thus lying about their identity.

The order stated that “beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life.”

Judge Reyes pitched a fit in the court hearing berating the Department of Justice lawyers defending the idea that biological men can’t shower and serve with female troops.

Reyes predictably issued a national injunction forcing President Trump to allow transgenders to serve in the military.

In her ruling, Reyes didn’t lean on the law or explain any actual reasoning under the law to strike down the troop ban.

Instead, Reyes issued a partisan temper tantrum where she imposed her policy view on transgenders on the military.

Ryes ranted that President Trump’s executive order was “unabashedly demeaning,” arguing that the order “stigmatizes transgender persons as inherently unfit.”

The ruling ignored the law and read like a campaign speech by a Democrat politician.

“The court knows that this opinion will lead to heated public debate and appeals. In a healthy democracy, both are positive outcomes,” Reyes continued. “We should all agree, however, that every person who has answered the call to serve deserves our gratitude and respect.”

“Indeed, the cruel irony is that thousands of transgender servicemembers have sacrificed – some risking their lives – to ensure for others the very equal protection rights the Military Ban seeks to deny them,” the judge went on to say adding that the administration’s lawyers “have not shown they will be burdened by continuing the status quo pending this litigation, and avoiding constitutional violations is always in the public interest.”

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth mocked the left-wing activist on social media.

Rogue left-wing judges are assuming the executive branch’s Article II powers to dictate national policy from the bench.

Hegseth wrote on X that if Reyes thinks she is such an expert on military readiness she should show up to Fort Bragg and conduct drills for the troops stationed at the base to prepare them for their missions.

“Since ‘Judge’ Reyes is now a top military planner, she/they can report to Fort Benning at 0600 to instruct our Army Rangers on how to execute High Value Target Raids…after that, Commander Reyes can dispatch to Fort Bragg to train our Green Berets on counterinsurgency warfare,” Hegseth snarked.
