One shocking confession about Hurricane Helene will sink Kamala Harris
Hurricane Helene was already a bad news cycle for Kamala Harris.
And it just got worse.
That’s because of one shocking confession about Hurricane Helene that will sink Kamala Harris.
Democrat strategist says Helene may keep Trump voters from casting ballots
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris faced intense criticism for leaving communities in North Carolina to rot after Hurricane Helene raved the area.
The small town of Bat Cave, NC was completely abandoned by FEMA after being destroyed by Hurricane Helene.

Critics are wondering if politics played a role.
Those questions only grew louder after Democrat strategist David Axelrod said on his podcast that the hurricane flooded Trump strongholds in North Carolina.
“Here’s my question about North Carolina. You had these killer storms, which, by the way, was a third big story this week. These killer storms, and there’s a lot of displacement in western North Carolina,” Axelrod began.
“Now, Asheville is a blue dot in that area. But those voters in Asheville are, they’re, you know, the kind of voters who will figure out a way to vote. You know? They’re upscale voters, kind of liberal voters, and they’re probably going to figure out a way to vote. I’m not sure a bunch of these folks who’ve had their homes and lives destroyed elsewhere in Western North Carolina, in the mountains there, are going to be as easy to wrangle for the Trump campaign,” Axelrod added.
“I don’t know how that’s all going to play out but it’s an unpredictable element in North Carolina that has made it a little more interesting,” Axelrod continued.
Former President Donald Trump won North Carolina by 70,000 votes in 2020.
The polls show the race a toss-up.
Axelrod is as plugged in as anyone on the Left.
Many on the Right are wondering if politics is driving the lackadaisical attitude on the part of the Biden-Harris administration toward the recovery effort in North Carolina.
Media outlets are also openly hoping that this is the case.
Trump areas hit hardest by hurricane
The pro-Kamala Harris website POLITICO published an article entitled “Helene hit Trump strongholds in Georgia and North Carolina. It could swing the election.”
POLITICO noted that the areas most devastated by Helene are ruby red.
“The parts of western North Carolina and eastern Georgia that were flooded by the monster storm are largely Republican. In 2020, he won 61 percent of the vote in the North Carolina counties that were declared a disaster after Helene. He won 54 percent of the vote in Georgia’s disaster counties,” POLITICO reported.
And in the aftermath of the storm, just .025% of the absentee ballots mailed out to counties in the areas declared a disaster were returned.
“State records show that nearly 40,000 absentee ballots were mailed to voters in the 25 North Carolina counties that were declared a disaster following Helene. Fewer than 1,000 have been returned,” POLITICO also reported.
Elections are won and lost on the margins.
Democrats are now openly wondering if a natural disaster will hand Kamala Harris the election.
Those sentiments are only fueling speculation that the administration isn’t on the ball with the response to this storm because of the political implications.
