Meghan Markle wants to be adored by the public.

The people that know her best have a surprising opinion of her.

And one secret nickname former co-workers gave Meghan Markle left her seeing red.

Staff on Meghan Markle’s podcast mocked her behind her back

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a deal to create podcasts for streaming service Spotify that was worth a reported $20 million after they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020.

Meghan produced 12 episodes of her Archetypes podcast that were panned by critics before the couple’s deal with Spotify was canceled in 2023.

British royal correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News that the disgruntled workers on her podcast gave her a secret nickname.

“Ex-staff members… told me they decided to christen her ‘Eva’ and this was used as a warning signal to let people know that she was either arriving or on the warpath,” Sean said.

The Spotify employees got the nickname from a classic Hollywood movie.

“This wasn’t an engaging pet nickname,” Sean stated. “The nickname came from the 1955 camp classic Queen Bee starring the ultimate diva . . . herself – Joan Crawford . . . This is because, like the Joan character [Eva Phillips], she stung her victims to pieces. This is exactly how staff felt about working alongside [Meghan].”

Sean claimed that Meghan had no idea she was given this nickname.

Queen Bee is about a ruthless socialite who causes havoc in the lives of everyone around her.

Meghan Markle was the employee from hell

Sean claimed that Meghan was a high-maintenance employee for Spotify to deal with.

“Behind the scenes, staff [found] Meghan really difficult to deal with, simply because of her . . . mood swings and just how well certain aspects of her career [were] going . . . [they] thought she was quite tough and bossy, so decided to [give her] the nickname of that character. She was high camp without realizing it,” Sean explained.

He added that Meghan only wanted to deal with the highest levels of Spotify’s management.

“When that person is not around, they have to be reminded that they are dealing with somebody who is a duchess and more importantly, a member of the British royal family,” Sean said. “This worked at the beginning as people were . . . beguiled by Meghan’s presence. But it quickly wore off when she became demanding . . . clearly forgetting her struggling actress days.”

Meghan reportedly yelled at Spotify employees at the drop of a hat and acted like a spoiled princess.

Spotify executive and sports podcaster Bill Simmons went off on Harry and Meghan after their deal with the company was over.

“‘The F***ing Grifters.’ That’s the podcast we should have launched with them,” Simmons said. “I have got to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories. F*** them. The grifters.”

Meghan Markle burnt a bridge with one of the most influential companies in the streaming business.
