Jury convicts illegal alien for murder of Laken Riley
An illegal alien named Jose Antonio Ibarra murdered 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley when Riley went for a morning jog on the University of Georgia campus.
Over the course of 18 minutes Riley fought for her life as Ibarra savagely attacked her and ultimately murdered her.
A jury convicted Ibarra and the judge sentenced Ibarra to life in prison with no possibility of parole.
Riley’s death became a rallying cry on the campaign trail as Ibarra’s presence in the country – he was a gang member from Venezuela with a criminal history – symbolized the open border policy of the Biden administration.
Trump celebrated news of the guilty verdict saying it was “justice” for Riley’s killing.
Trump previously met with Riley’s family and wished them the best as they try to get closure on an unthinkable loss.
“JUSTICE FOR LAKEN RILEY! The Illegal who killed our beloved Laken Riley was just found GUILTY on all counts for his horrific crimes. Although the pain and heartbreak will last forever, hopefully this can help bring some peace and closure to her wonderful family who fought for Justice, and to ensure that other families don’t have to go through what they have,” Trump posted on X.
Trump added that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden allowing criminal illegal aliens like Ibarra to roam the streets made his proposed mass deportation effort all the more necessary.
“We love you, Laken, and our hearts will always be with you. It is time to secure our Border, and remove these criminals and thugs from our Country, so nothing like this can happen again!” Trump added.
The Biden-Kamala Harris administration failed Laken Riley
Ibarra was only in the country because Biden and Kamala Harris allowed it.
The Border Patrol took Ibarra into custody in September 2022 and then released him into the country due to a lack of detention space.
“Ibarra crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas on Sept. 8, 2022. Biden and Harris’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released Ibarra into the U.S. interior with parole, citing a lack of available detention space even as more than 8,000 detention beds were available at the time,” Breitbart reported.
Ibarra then lived at taxpayer expense in a swanky New York City hotel before Biden and Kamala Harris’ administration approved a work permit.
“In November 2023, just a couple of months before Riley’s murder, Ibarra applied for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
On December 9, 2023, Ibarra’s work permit application was approved,” Breitbart also reported.
Local authorities arrested Ibarra in September 2023 on charges he endangered a child but prosecutors didn’t press charges and expunged the arrest.
Ibarra then took a taxpayer-funded flight from New York to Georgia where he ultimately murdered Riley.
Critics contend that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden ultimately killed Laken Riley by opening the border and handing out free passes to criminal migrants to take up residency in America.
This stain on Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s legacy won’t go away anytime soon.
