Johnson agrees to fund scheme to disarm gun owners
Right after Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) and 100 other RINOs voted for a $1.2 trillion government spending bill, the American people found out just how badly he rolled over for President Joe Biden in these negotiations.
The Department of Justice announced the creation of a Red Flag resource center where the federal government could centralize all its power and might to help left-wing judges issue orders allowing the government to kick in the door of Americans and seize their firearms without any due process of law or them being convicted of a crime.
“The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others,” the Department of Justice statement read. “The establishment of the Center is the latest example of the Justice Department’s work to use every tool provided by the landmark Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect communities from gun violence.”
“ERPO [red flag] laws, which are modeled off domestic violence protection orders, create a civil process allowing law enforcement, family members (in most states), and medical professionals or other groups (in some states) to petition a court to temporarily prohibit someone at risk of harming themselves or others from purchasing and possessing firearms for the duration of the order,” the statement continued.
Conservatives react in horror
Conservatives who voted against Johnson’s spending sellout had no idea the awful details he and Biden tucked into the bill to hide from the American people.
The common denominator among the conservative opponents was that no one in Congress voted to create an operational command center from Biden’s weaponized government to disarm law-abiding American citizens.
“What the hell is this evil?” Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) posted on X. “A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this. Announced, of course, just hours after the omnibus passes.”
“We did not authorize this. And yes, an omnibus with $200 million in it for a new FBI headquarters I might add,” Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) added.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced a motion to vacate the chair and remove Johnson as Speaker of the House.
She explained that Johnson giving the green light to Joe Biden to illegally spy on Americans to seize their firearms was the final straw.
“Merrick Garland just announced a massive Red Flag Operation that the DOJ will be running by using EVERY spy tool the US government has in order to violate American’s Second Amendment!! This comes right after Johnson fully funded Biden’s weaponized DOJ!” Greene declared.
Support for red flag confiscation laws could lead to GOP defeat in November
Conservative talk show host Dana Loesch wrote that Johnson conspiring with Biden to add federal heft to state red flag confiscation orders – where Democrat judges can claim Trump supporters are dangers to society because they believe in misinformation about the 2020 Election and thus have their guns confiscated – is a sign that the GOP doesn’t want to win in November.
“Why should we fight for a party that won’t fight for us when sent to DC to do so? There is zero justification in supporting this. The only difference right now between the parties is that one is honest about wanting to destroy the country and the other lies about it,” Loesch posted on X.
