Melania Trump likes to keep her family life private.

But she had to share one important detail from the election.

And Melania Trump revealed something about Barron Trump that Democrats will hate.

Melania Trump gushes over the role her son Barron Trump played in the campaign

Once and future First Lady Melania Trump appeared on Fox & Friends for her first interview after President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the election.

She talked about how her son, Barron Trump, is handling life as a freshman at New York University.

The future First Lady admitted that Barron would never have a “normal” college experience because of his Secret Service protection and who his father is.

“His experience at college, it’s very different than any other kid,” Melania said. “I’m very proud of how he’s handling, he’s very strong, and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children. I just say, ‘Make your dreams come true. This is your road, this is your life, and make sure that you listen yourself and your likes and dislikes.'”

She was proud of the way her 18-year-old son played an influential role in the Trump campaign.

He came up with the names of podcasters and streamers for Donald Trump to appear on during the election.

Trump was able to reach younger voters and others who wouldn’t have been able to normally reach by appearing on podcasts and live streams.

“I’m very proud of him about his knowledge, even about politics, and giving advice to his father,” Melania explained. “He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore. They are all on the tablets. Their phones and all of these podcasts and streamers.”

“He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father and was incredible how he brought in success because he knew exactly who he, his father, needs to contact and to talk to,” Melania added.

Melania Trump knows what she’s getting into at the White House this time

The future First Lady has the experience of four years living in the White House as she prepares to make her return to Washington, D.C. in January.

“This time, it is very different because we already know where we are going and we have all of the plans from before. So we don’t need to go back in,” Melania said. “My team is in contact with the White House, so that’s a plus, but we have all what we need. So this is the second time. So it’s nothing new.”

She noted that the energy around her husband’s campaign was different compared to his previous Presidential bids.

“I see that the country and the people who really support a team and they support him, his focus to make this country great again, and his patriotism, it’s incredible and his hard work as well,” Melania explained. “I hope the country will be united, and that’s what we all hope for, and, you know, I’m always against violence. I think nothing is accomplished with the violence.”

Donald Trump is the second President in American history, after Grover Cleveland, to serve two non-consecutive terms in the White House.

He and his family will be able to rely on their experience to make his second term a success.
