Megyn Kelly exposed the $500,000 payment that wrecked Kamala Harris
Americans are only now learning what a disaster Kamala Harris’ campaign was.
The ugly truth makes it perfectly clear why Kamala Harris lost.
And Megyn Kelly exposed the $500,000 payment that wrecked Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris’ payola scandal
Kamala Harris’ campaign paid $20 million to pay music stars like Katy Perry, Bon Jovi, and Lady Gaga to perform at her rallies and endorse her.
Oprah Winfrey’s production company collected $1 million to show up at a rally in Philadelphia to rant and rave about how this would be the last election for all time in America if Donald Trump won.
Celebrity payola is nothing new.
But the most shocking line item on Kamala Harris’ final campaign finance report showed a $500, 000 payment to National Action Network, the nonprofit run by MSNBC host Reverend Al Sharpton.
Kelly told listeners to her podcast that Kamala’s campaign paid the National Action Network weeks before Sharpton interviewed Kamala on his MSNBC show.
“Al Sharpton, who not only runs the National Action Network, that’s his nonprofit organization which is very sketchy to begin with, he hosts a show on MSNBC. And it just came out today via the Free Beacon… that her campaign “donated” $ 500,000 to his nonprofit weeks before Harris went to sit with him for an interview on MSNBC,” Kelly stated.
The payment to the National Action Network raised serious questions about Kamala engaged in pay for play with Sharpton’s nonprofit to ensure a softball interview.
Kelly said it was so cartoonishly corrupt and unethical that even MSNBC would have to respond.
“I’m dying. I’m dying from the conflict of interest. I’m dead. It happened. This is like the bias is coming out of the ears. This is so irresponsible, unethical, and not allowed. It’s so egregious, MSNBC is going to have to respond,” Kelly added.
There is precedent for MSNBC to impose punishment.
Back in 2010 MSNBC suspended Joe Scarborough over a donation made to Matt Gaetz back when Gaetz was a member of the Florida state legislature.
Sharpton also never disclosed the payment to his nonprofit which makes it even more shady from an ethics in journalism perspective.
“You cannot make a donation to an anchor’s charity on the side of $500,000 as a presidential candidate, then go sit with the anchor. And he didn’t disclose it. This is not a news organization, but they continue to masquerade as one,” Kelly concluded.
There ended up being nothing real about Kamala Harris.
Kamala’s handlers refused to allow her to do an interview with Joe Rogan out of fear that a three hour interview would expose the fact that she can’t speak unless someone writes her a script.
The campaign paid for rock concerts, celebrity interviews and softball interviews because the handlers knew the only chance for victory was creating an artificial construct of Kamala Harris and hope to fake it until you make it.
