Marjorie Taylor Greene couldn’t believe the good news.

This was what she always wanted.

And Marjorie Taylor Greene jumped for joy over this state seceding from the union.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome in California is out of control.

Activists in California can now proceed with gathering signatures to put a ballot measure before voters to study the feasibility of the Golden State breaking away from the United States and forming its own independent country.

“Should California leave the United States and become a free and independent country? If at least 50% of registered voters participate in that election, and at least 55% vote ‘yes,’ it would constitute ‘a vote of no confidence in the United States of America’ and ‘expression of the will of the people of California’ to become an independent country, but would not change California’s current government or relationship with the United States. Creates a commission to report on California’s viability as an independent country,” the ballot measure reads.

No one was happier to hear this news than Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

The media previously attacked Greene for floating the idea of a “national divorce.”

But now it was the press’ allies in the Democrat Party looking to break up the union.

In a post on X Greene noted that if California followed through with seceding from the union it would mean 43 fewer Democrats in Congress, giving the GOP a functioning majority.

“California Secretary of State has approved a campaign to gather signatures for a petition calling for a vote on if California should secede from the U.S. and become an independent country. Go ahead. That would mean 43 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives would be GONE, giving House Republicans a HUGE majority!” Greene added.

Losing California would also mean two less Democrat Senators and 54 Electoral College votes.

“And 2 California Democrats U.S. Senators would be GONE making the Republican Senate majority STRONGER. AND if California secedes, the next Democrat presidential candidate would lose California’s 54 electoral college votes. California TDS patients could lead to their own demise. I’m here for it. FAFO,” Greene concluded.

That last one is the big one.

Democrats could likely overcome the loss of two Senate seats eventually as the map and political environment would one day turn in their favor.

But losing 54 Electoral College votes would be a killer at the national level.

That would mean a winning candidate only needed to read 241 Electoral College votes to win the Presidency.

Without California, Kamala Harris would have won only 182 Electoral College votes.

California gives every Democrat 54 automatic votes in the Electoral College.

Take that away and Democrats need to scramble as they are now behind the 8-ball needing to win solid red states to capture the Presidency.
