But now Karoline Leavitt made Ilhan Omar instantly regret starting this fight with Donald Trump.
The Democrat Party wants war with Donald Trump over Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) recommending Trump shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Democrats staged their first protest outside USAID headquarters where Ilhan Omar falsely claimed Trump moving USAID into the State Department and naming Secretary of State Marco Rubio its acting director was the move of a tyrant.
“We talked about Trump wanting to be a dictator on day one, and here we are. This is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like. When you gut the Constitution and you install yourself as the sole power, that is how dictators are made,” Omar raged.
President John F. Kennedy created USAID through executive order in 1961.
It’s well within President Trump’s right to unilaterally end programs created via the executive.
Omar then shrieked about Elon Musk being a “privileged billionaire” who is operating with extra-legal authority to close down agencies like USAID that supposedly operate to fulfill humanitarian missions.
“Privileged billionaires who don’t give a damn about America and Americans should not be making decisions that put Americans at harm. And a billionaire that hasn’t been vetted, has not gone through confirmation, has not been elected by the American people, who we still do not understand what in the world he’s doing, should not be telling American employees that they cannot access the building they work at. What kind of country is this man turning our country into?” Omar added.
But USAID is a hive mind of woke activists who want to go rogue and operate outside of oversight from Congress and against President Trump’s agenda.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt detailed to reporters how USAID wasted its $44 billion budget on leftist lunacy.
“Here’s the reason why Elon Musk and others have been taking a look,” Leavitt said before telling reporters that USAID spent “$1.5M to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces.”
USAID also shelled out “$70k for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland,” Leavitt added.
Leavitt explained that USAID wasted “$47k for a transgender opera in Colombia.”
And according to Leavitt there was also a line item for “$32k for a transgender comic book in Peru.

USAID employees also decorated the headquarters as a shrine to woke.
Employees told ABC News how they scrambled to take down their woke symbols as Musk and the DOGE team entered USAID headquarters.
“DOGE was in the building. We started — we took down our pride flags, we took down- I took out any books I felt would be incriminating. No one was talking, We heard they started taking transcripts automatically of all of our Google meets. We — they unplugged the news in the little kitchen galleys. It didn’t feel good. And then Saturday, all of the websites went down. And then I lost complete access to my computer,” the USAID employee relayed to ABC.
