Kamala Harris’ handlers made one unthinkable confession

The Democrat Party is in the middle of an after-action report following Donald Trump’s landslide win.

The conclusions top party officials came to were striking.

And Kamala Harris’ handlers made one unthinkable confession.

Kamala Harris’ deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty gave a striking interview.

Flaherty did what no other top Democrat campaign official in living memory has ever done, which is to admit openly that the mainstream media is on the Democrat Party team.

“There’s just no value — with respect to my colleagues in the mainstream press — in a general election, to speaking to the New York Times or speaking to the Washington Post, because those [readers] are already with us,” Flaherty stated.

The press caters to the Left because in an era where newspapers are dependent on subscribers, executives know their customer base is predominantly Democrats.

Kamala Harris’ media strategy revolved around traditional press outlets, whereas Donald Trump went on podcasts in an attempt to reach a broader audience.

Flaherty admitted Trump’s strategy was superior because polls show record numbers of Americans don’t trust the press.

“The reason folks are seeking alternative sources of media and are turning away from political news is because they don’t trust our institutions. They don’t trust elites, they don’t trust the media, they don’t trust all this stuff. So the party of elites and institutions is going to have a hard time selling to people in these places,” Flaherty added.

Americans don’t trust the media because of years of lying.

The press began Trump’s Presidency with the Russia collusion hoax.

Years of lying continued with falsehoods about the COVID origins.

And the latest embarrassment for the press was CNN’s Clarissa Ward supposedly freeing a prison Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad supposedly kept in a dungeon, only to later have it emerge that the man worked as one of Assad’s torturers.

Flaherty said Democrats had way more work to do than to just schedule their candidates for interviews with Joe Rogan.

That wouldn’t work because the Democrat Party’s demands throughout COVID and Trump’s Presidency that the public submit to the “wisdom” of credential experts – who ended up getting exposed as partisan liars – meant Democrats were the party of the establishment and these podcasters audiences sought them out precisely because these shows served as the voice opposed to the system.

“It’s not as simple as, like, ‘Go to Joe Rogan and talk about how great democracy is and the importance of preserving the independence of the DOJ,’ or whatever. You’ve got to speak their language. And I think there are plenty of cultural touchpoints. I mean, Joe Rogan was at least recently, for Medicare for All. Theo Von is really against money in politics and the way that pharma has flooded our communities with opioids,” Flaherty continued.

“Those are all things that Democrats have something to say on. But as long as we seem like the party of the system, the people who are anti-system and are looking for anti-systemic media — we’re gonna have a hard time connecting with them,” Flaherty remarked.

Flaherty didn’t go so far as to predict the death of the traditional media, but he said Democrats would eventually get fed up with the mainstream press’ lies and seek out alternatives.

“They’re never going to not trust the New York Times, and they’re never going to distrust the Washington Post,” Flaherty stated.

“But I think that in a Trump era, you’ll start to see frustrations with the mainstream media come to a boil. And I think there will be smart people who try to fill the gap — more individuals who create content on left and center-left messaging,” Flaherty concluded.

Democrats are already seeing this play out.

Ratings on MSNBC and CNN are down more than 50 and 40 percent since the election because viewers realized they lied to them about Kamala Harris’ chances of victory.
