John Kennedy Just Delivered a Brutal Verdict on Kamala Harris’ Wild Voter ID Video

Harris posted a furious video attacking the SAVE Act and conservatives couldn't stop sharing it.
Her attack accidentally sold voter ID better than any Republican ad could.
Now Louisiana Senator John Kennedy just told her exactly what he thinks that video proves.
The Video Kamala Herself Turned into a Voter ID Commercial
Harris fired off a social media rant slamming the SAVE America Act, the law requiring proof of citizenship to vote.
Trump shared her clip almost immediately, and Fox News reported the attack "spectacularly backfired" the moment conservatives got hold of it.
Instead of scaring people away from voter ID, Harris's own explanation made the law sound exactly as reasonable as Republicans have said it is for years.

Slay News dubbed her an accidental "SAVE America Act saleswoman," and the label stuck because it's true.
WLT Report documented conservatives online mocking her for handing them the best voter ID ad of the year, for free, with her own face on it.
That's the setup that got Senator John Kennedy talking.
Kennedy Doesn't Miss
Kennedy went after Harris directly over the SAVE Act comments, telling reporters she's "no longer relevant," according to The Hill.
Coming from anyone else, that line might sound like routine political trash talk.
Coming from Kennedy, it lands harder, because he's built a reputation in the Senate for one liners that stick around long after the news cycle moves on.
RedState has already tracked how Kennedy spent this year mocking Harris, at one point calling her a "smoked turkey" who "had her chance, and had her shot, and she missed it."
But what he said next not only savaged Harris some more but also included one of the best political nicknames in recent memory – “Lulu Lenins.”
“She can cozy up to the Lulu Lenins all she wants to,but she has me confused with somebody who cares what she thinks. I mean, she’s yesterday,” Kennedy finished.
This wasn't a random shot.
It was a senator watching a former vice president torch her own credibility on voter ID and deciding to say out loud what half of Washington was already thinking privately.

Harris Keeps Finding New Ways to Prove the Point
None of this happens if Harris stays quiet, but she never does.
She skipped a run for California governor this year, and Fox News reported the announcement immediately set off what it called a circular Democrat firing squad.
Instead of taking the hint, she kept teasing a 2028 run and extended her international book tour into politically important territory.
Every time Harris tries to reinsert herself into the conversation, the result is another headline about Democrats fighting each other over what to do with her.
Hillary Clinton spent years after 2016 trying to manufacture comeback moments that never landed, and voters mostly just moved on without her.
Harris is running the same playbook now, and the SAVE Act video is exactly the kind of unforced error that convinces even sympathetic Democrats she hasn't learned anything since her 2024 election loss.
Why Kennedy's Line Actually Stings
Here's what fires me up about this one.
Harris had one job with that video – convince Americans that requiring proof of citizenship to vote is somehow dangerous.
She couldn't do it, because the policy is common sense and everyone watching could tell.
Instead of retreating, she doubled down publicly, handed Trump a viral clip, and gave conservative media a gift they didn't even have to edit.
Kennedy's "no longer relevant" line works precisely because it's backed up by receipts – a failed presidential run, a skipped governor's race, a book tour nobody in Washington is talking about, and now a voter ID attack that talked people into supporting voter ID.
Democrats keep waiting for a Harris comeback story to write itself.
At some point somebody in that party is going to have to admit Kennedy already wrote the headline for them.
