Jasmine Crockett Was Busted For Telling This Big Lie About Republicans

Democrats have been obsessing over Jeffrey Epstein files for weeks.
They thought they found the perfect weapon against conservatives.
And Jasmine Crockett was busted for telling this big lie about Republicans.
Crockett's reckless attack during Plaskett censure debate
Squad member Jasmine Crockett stood on the House floor and dropped what she thought was a bombshell accusation against EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, a former New York Congressman.
Crockett rattled off a list of Republicans she claimed took money from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – including Zeldin, Mitt Romney, George Bush, John McCain, and others.¹
"Folks who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein, as I had my team dig in very quickly," Crockett declared during debate over censuring Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett for texting with Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing.²
The Texas Congresswoman thought she'd exposed Republican hypocrisy.
Instead, she exposed her own team's sloppy research and willingness to smear political opponents without checking basic facts.
Zeldin fired back immediately on social media with receipts that destroyed Crockett's entire narrative.
"Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine," Zeldin posted on X. "NO FREAKIN RELATION, YOU GENIUS!"³
Federal Election Commission records confirmed what Crockett should have known before opening her mouth – the Jeffrey Epstein who donated to Zeldin's campaign was a New York doctor, not the billionaire pedophile.
Dr. Jeffrey Epstein is a respected facial plastic surgeon and hair restoration specialist in Miami who has practiced medicine for over 30 years.
He's performed more than 16,000 surgical procedures and serves as a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami.
The convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
Democrats caught in their own Epstein trap
The false accusation against Zeldin came during a heated debate over Plaskett's troubling relationship with the late billionaire sex trafficker.
Newly released documents from Epstein's estate showed Plaskett texted with Epstein in real-time during a February 2019 House Oversight hearing where she questioned Michael Cohen.
Epstein fed Plaskett information and suggestions for questions, including pointing her toward Trump assistant Rhona Graff, whom he described as "keeper of the secrets."
"Quick I'm up next is that an acronym," Plaskett texted back to Epstein, asking about Graff.⁴
Minutes later, Plaskett questioned Cohen about Graff during the hearing, following Epstein's suggestions.
The convicted sex offender then texted Plaskett "Good work" after she finished questioning Cohen.
House Republicans attempted to censure Plaskett and remove her from the Intelligence Committee, which handles classified national security information.
The resolution failed 209-214 after three Republicans joined Democrats in voting it down.⁵
Democrats spent the entire debate deflecting from Plaskett's disturbing coordination with a convicted child predator by pointing to Trump's name appearing in Epstein documents.
Crockett's false attack on Zeldin was the most brazen attempt to muddy the waters.
Jamie Raskin claimed the censure effort was "one more pathetic effort to distract and divert attention from the fact that the president's name appeared more than 1,000 times already in the small fraction of material released on Epstein."⁶
Raskin conveniently ignored what the emails actually show – Epstein despised Trump.
The released documents reveal Epstein mocked Trump relentlessly and told former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers that Trump didn't have "one decent cell" in his body.⁷
Trump's name appeared in Epstein's files because the pedophile was obsessed with tracking Trump's rise to power, not because they were buddies.
That's a lot different from Plaskett texting with a convicted sex offender in real-time to get advice on how to attack Trump's associates during a congressional hearing.
Plaskett defended herself by claiming Epstein was merely a constituent providing information, conveniently ignoring that he was already a registered sex offender at the time.
"I don't need to get advice on how to question anybody from any individual," Plaskett insisted on the House floor. "I have been a lawyer for 30 years."
If she didn't need advice, why was she texting with a convicted sex offender for suggestions during a congressional hearing?
Ralph Norman, who introduced the censure resolution, called Plaskett's behavior "beyond comprehension."
"The American people expect honesty, the American people expect integrity and judgment from their elected officials," Norman stated. "They expect members of Congress to conduct themselves with one word – decency – not to seek advice from a predator who exploited minor children."⁸
Democrats also conveniently ignored revelations that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries solicited donations from Epstein through Democratic fundraisers in 2013.
An email invited Epstein to a fundraising dinner with Jeffries and Barack Obama, describing Jeffries as "Brooklyn's Barack."
When asked about it, Jeffries claimed he had "no recollection of the email" and insisted Epstein never donated to him.⁹
The same day Crockett was making false accusations about Republicans taking Epstein money, the House voted 427-1 to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The legislation forces the Justice Department to release all unclassified files related to Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days.
Trump said he will sign the bill, opening the door to transparency Democrats claimed they wanted.
But when it came time to hold one of their own accountable for coordinating with a convicted pedophile, Democrats circled the wagons.
Crockett's sloppy smear of Zeldin backfired spectacularly and revealed the entire Democrat strategy – make reckless accusations against Republicans to distract from Democrats' own Epstein connections.
