J.D. Vance gave President Zelensky some really bad news

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a huge mistake when he tried to embarrass President Trump in the Oval Office.

Zelensky thought he could bully Trump like he did Joe Biden.

And J.D. Vance gave President Zelensky some really bad news.

J.D. Vance shoots down the idea of troops on the ground in Ukraine

Joe Biden shoveled taxpayer money out the door to Ukraine hand over first.

Biden shipped hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to pay for Ukraine’s lost war against Russia.

President Trump campaigned on ending this war.

And Trump began negotiations with Russia on a peace deal.

But President Trump also insisted that America get paid back  for the nearly $200 billion Joe Biden funneled to Ukraine.

President Zelensky was used to bilking America.

Donald Trump put America first.

And key to that was a mineral rights deal where America would eventually receive $500 billion from a joint venture between the United States and Ukraine to mine Ukraine’s rare earth minerals.

Zelensky showed up at the Oval Office for a meeting with President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance where everyone thought Zelensky would sign the mineral rights deal.

Instead, Zelensky lectured Trump and Vance that America hadn’t done enough for Ukraine and demanded an American security guarantee, which means American boots on the ground and a stated commitment to go to war with Russia if Russia invades Ukraine again.

Trump rejected that out of hand and slammed Zelensky for acting like an ingrate.

Zelensky’s globalist allies tried to get the war back on track.

United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer hosted a summit with Zelensky after the Oval Office flap where Starmer attempted to put together a “coalition of the willing” to defend Ukraine.

“We are all working together in Europe in order to find a basis for cooperation with America for true peace and guaranteed security,” Zelensky told reporters following the summit.

Starmer said the United Kingdom was willing to put “boots on the ground, and planes in the air.”

“The mineral deal is not enough on its own,” Starmer added.

What Starmer meant by that was the United Kingdom was willing to deploy troops to Ukraine if the United States provided a backstop of a security guarantee, which was another way of Zelensky and his allies trying to drag America into war with Russia.

J.D. Vance put the kibosh on that in an interview with Sean Hannity.

Vance explained that the mineral rights deal “allows the American people to get some of their money back, but it also shows the Ukrainian people that America has a long-term investment in their sovereignty.”

Vance argued that an economic deal was the best security guarantee Ukraine could hope for, as opposed to troops from European nations who don’t have real militaries.

“The president knows that, look, if you want real security guarantees, if you want to actually ensure that Vladimir Putin does not invade Ukraine again, the very best security guarantee is to give Americans economic upside in the future of Ukraine. That is a way better security guarantee than 20,000 troops from some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years. The security guarantee, and also the economic guarantee for Ukraine, is to rebuild the country and ensure that America has a long-term interest.”
