Halloween is still months away, but candy lovers are already marking their calendars.

The Hershey Company knows exactly how to get people excited about the spookiest season of the year.

And Hershey just unveiled their Halloween lineup with one new flavor that has candy lovers counting down the days.

Hershey brings back fall flavors after six-year absence

The candy giant dropped some serious Halloween news on Monday that has sweet-tooth enthusiasts buzzing with anticipation.

Hershey announced their complete 2025 Halloween collection, and buried in the lineup is something fans have been waiting years to see again.

For the first time in six years, Hershey is introducing a brand-new fall harvest flavor – Hershey’s Nuggets Pumpkin Spice Latte.¹

The milk chocolate candy features pumpkin spice latte flavored filling, giving candy lovers that perfect autumn taste they’ve been craving.

Half a decade since Hershey last rolled out a fall-specific flavor. That makes this launch particularly significant for seasonal candy enthusiasts.

Pumpkin spice everything has become a cultural phenomenon that signals the official start of fall for millions of Americans, so the timing couldn’t be better.

Strategic collaborations bring beloved characters to candy aisles

Hershey’s Halloween strategy goes way beyond just the pumpkin spice latte nuggets, though.

The Pennsylvania-based company is pulling out all the stops with some clever brand collaborations that tap into serious nostalgia.

Hershey partnered with the Peanuts gang to create "It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" themed Reese’s Pumpkins and Reese’s Miniatures.²

The packaging features beloved characters like Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts crew – guaranteed to hit parents right in the childhood memories.

They didn’t stop with just one major collaboration, either.

Hershey also teamed up with the wizarding world for their Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème Harry Potter Magical Friends Collection.

The collection showcases iconic characters like Hedwig, Dobby, Buckbeak, and Fawkes – bringing a touch of Hogwarts magic to Halloween candy bowls across America.

Random partnerships? Hardly. These are calculated moves to capture both kid appeal and adult nostalgia in one brilliant stroke.

New shapes and formats shake up traditional Halloween offerings

Innovation doesn’t stop at flavors and collaborations for Hershey this season.

The company is introducing Kit Kat Counts in a new vampire shape that comes in both snack and jump size assortment bags.³

Reese’s fans get something special too with the launch of Reese’s Mini Pumpkins Unwrapped – giving chocolate and peanut butter lovers a new way to enjoy their favorite combination.

Even Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies are getting an upgrade with new individual wrappers, easier to hand out to trick-or-treaters.

Katie DeCapria, Hershey’s senior manager for Halloween, says the company has turned Halloween into an annual tradition that families look forward to celebrating together.

DeCapria noted that the company focuses on creating seasonal favorites that families can enjoy together.⁴

Hershey gets it – Halloween isn’t just about candy. It’s about creating experiences and memories that bring families together.

Smart packaging meets consumer demands

Hershey’s packaging choices show they know exactly what consumers want during Halloween season.

The company is offering 30- to 60-count assortment bags. Perfect for parents who need to stock up for the big night.

These include specialized mixes like Twizzler Lovers, featuring snack size Cherry Pull ‘n’ Peel, Strawberry Twists, and Rainbow Twists all in one bag.

There’s also a Halloween Lovers assortment that includes snack size Kit Kat Witch’s Brew, Counts, Ghost Toast, and Milk Chocolate varieties.

According to DeCapria, the new packaging approach makes Halloween celebrating easier for families.⁵

Halloween has evolved beyond just trick-or-treating – it’s become a season-long celebration that includes office parties, school events, and family gatherings.

Hershey cements Halloween market leadership

This comprehensive Halloween strategy shows why Hershey remains the undisputed king of seasonal candy.

They’re not just throwing products at the wall to see what sticks – they’re making calculated moves to capture every segment of the Halloween market.

Nostalgic collaborations that appeal to parents? Check. Exciting new flavors that create buzz? Check. Practical packaging that makes life easier for busy families? Check.

The six-year gap since their last fall harvest flavor makes the Pumpkin Spice Latte Nuggets launch feel like a genuine event rather than just another product rollout.

Hershey’s got an impressive arsenal with brands including Hershey’s, Reese’s, Kisses, Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher, Twizzlers, and more. The Pennsylvania-based company has the firepower to dominate Halloween candy aisles nationwide.

Halloween might still be months away, but Hershey just gave consumers plenty of reasons to start planning their seasonal candy purchases early.
