The changes in the media landscape continue to roll through at a furious clip.

CNN sits at the center of the turbulence.

And Fox News taunted CNN over this unconditional surrender to Donald Trump.

Over the course of the Trump era CNN hosts, contributors and guests attacked Fox News as “state TV” and falsely claimed they were a “facts first” news network while running every hoax and anti-Trump psyop the Democrat Party thought would damage Donald Trump.

The bill came due for CNN’s propaganda after the 2024 election with new CEO Mark Thompson telling anchors, commentators, and reporters ahead of Trump’s inauguration to back off the resistance editorializing that defined CNN the last eight years.

“Thompson indicated to attendees, I’m told, that he wanted his journalists to be forward-thinking and to avoid pre-judging Trump. He cautioned against expressing any outrage of their own, as many of the anchors who make up CNN’s roster of journalists had previously done with regularity during Trump’s first term,” leftwing censorship activist Oliver Darcy reported in his newsletter.

Fox News’ Trace Gallagher took note of Thompson telling CNN’s talent to lay down the swords and shields and try to get back to being a news network.

“Turns out CNN boss, Mark Thompson, reportedly had to warn his lead anchors, Jake Tapper, Anderson Cooper, and dozens of other journalists, not to ‘express outrage’ during the Trump inauguration,” Gallagher told Fox News viewers.

Gallagher mocked CNN’s anchors as Democrat Party propagandists as no actual journalist would need their boss to tell them to be fair to the President.

And Gallagher poked fun at rumors that leftwing activist Jim Acosta was quitting CNN by needling Acosta over the fact that he wasn’t listed on CNN’s new programming lineup.

“COMMON SENSE thinks, when you have to order your journalist to be fair, it’s bad for journalism. It’s bad for business. Maybe that’s why CNN’s anti-Trump anchor, Jim Acosta, was left off CNN’s new programming schedule,” Gallagher added. “Maybe that’s why CNN had to fire hundreds of employees. Maybe that’s why CNN is overhauling its lineup.”

Thompson announced CNN would fire hundreds of employees at a time when CNN’s primetime lineup shrunk by 31 percent from this time a year ago.

And despite the ratings collapse, CNN is leaving the failed primetime lineup in place.

“But here is the weird thing. CNN is changing its lineup, but is not changing its dead last in ratings prime time lineup, and Chief Executive Mark Thompson is now promising to steer CNN away from its reliance on traditional television,” Gallagher stated.

Viewers want real news from networks that tell them the truth.

Fox News accurately covered the 2024 election and their primetime ratings skyrocketed 40 percent in the 25-54 year old demographic.

CNN fed viewers nothing but negative stories and hoaxes about Donald Trump.

And as such, Gallagher noted, the audience responded by collectively using their remotes to change the channel.

“So, CNN is steering clear of television, because the country is steering clear of CNN on television,” Gallagher concluded.
