Donald Trump made one daring move that left his supporters jumping for joy
Donald Trump closed out his first week as President on a historical winning streak.
Trump saved the best for last.
And Donald Trump made one daring move that left his supporters jumping for joy.
In his first term, Donald Trump achieved the goal conservatives fought for since 1973 when his Supreme Court Justices provided the decisive votes to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Trump began his second week amassing more victories for the pro-life movement.
Donald Trump didn’t just pardon the 23 pro-life activists that Joe Biden’s weaponized FBI and Justice Department hunted down and put in jail because they prayed in front of abortion clinics.
Trump’s Justice Department took steps to make sure these abuses end for the next four years.
Biden jailed pro-life activists using the FACE Act, which makes it a crime to use physical force or intimidation tactics to prevent entrance to an abortion clinic.
Praying doesn’t come close to meeting those standards.
Attorney general chief of staff Chad Mizelle authored a memo instructing the Civil Rights Division that they should only bring “FACE Act” charges under “extraordinary circumstances” or in situations with “significant aggravating factors.”
The memo cited the double standard of justice Joe Biden imposed.
After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, pro-abortion fanatics staged 100 attacks on churches and crisis pregnancy centers.
Yet virtually all the prosecutions under the FACE Act were against pro-lifers.
“President Donald Trump campaigned on the promise of ending the weaponization of the federal government and has recently directed all federal departments and agencies to identify and correct the past weaponization of law enforcement,” the Mizelle memo continued.
Joe Biden weaponized the FACE Act against the pro-life movement to criminalize opposition to abortion-on-demand.
Mizelle announced Donald Trump ended that practice.
“To many Americans, prosecutions and civil actions under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) have been the prototypical example of this weaponization. And with good reason,” Mizelle continued.
The Thomas More Society – where attorneys represented three pro-lifers in FACE Act cases – thanked Donald Trump for fulfilling his promise to end the weaponization of the government.
“In each of these three FACE Act cases, Thomas More Society attorneys were representing several brave and peaceful pro-life defendants — who can now breathe easy without the heavy burden of federal prosecutors on their backs,” the group’s statement read.
But this memo wasn’t the only win for the pro-life movement.
Trump also reinstated the Mexico City Policy which prohibits federal funds from going to groups that perform abortions internationally.
And Trump also rescinded several Biden abortion-on-demand policies such as reimbursing military service members and their families for the cost of crossing state lines to undergo an abortion, allowing VA hospitals to perform abortion counseling and abortions, and providing transportation for pregnant illegal aliens to get abortions.
