The polling in the 2024 Election took an incredible turn.

Suddenly it’s the Democrat Party on defense.

And that’s because Donald Trump just flipped these three swing states red.

Donald Trump builds leads in the Sunbelt states

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign strategy hinged on sweeping the Sun Belt states of Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.

If he held North Carolina and flipped Arizona and Georgia, it would leave him needing to only win one “Blue Wall” state of Michigan, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin to reach 270 Electoral College votes.

Trump winning the Sun Belt would leave Vice President Kamala Harris with just one path to 270 Electoral College votes – sweeping Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin and winning the lone Electoral College vote in Nebraska’s Second Congressional District.

Now Trump is getting the best news of his campaign on this front since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and Democrats replaced him with Kamala.

The election website Decision Desk HQ moved Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina into the Trump column based on the results of the most recent polls.

“In Arizona, Trump is leading Harris by 0.8 points, on 48.5 percent to Harris’s 47.7 percent. On September 2, Harris had been ahead by 0.1 points in the state, on 48 percent to Trump’s 47.9 percent,” Newsweek reported.

“In Georgia, Trump is ahead of Harris by 0.2 points, on 48.1 points to Harris’ 47.9 points, with Trump having wiped out his opponent’s previous lead of 0.4 points,” Newsweek also reported.

“In North Carolina, Trump has gained the lead with 48.5 points, while Harris stands at 48 percent, reversing a previous tie between the candidates,” Newsweek concluded.

Quinnipiac’s new polls showed Trump leading Kamala by six in Georgia and two in North Carolina.

Emerson’s polls found Trump leading her by three in Arizona and one in North Carolina.

The Washington Post’s poll of North Carolina had Trump over her by two points and also critically showed him reaching 50 percent support.

The tipping point state

The entire election looks like it will come down to Pennsylvania’s 19 Electoral College votes.

And the race couldn’t be tighter.

Emerson’s poll of Pennsylvania found Trump and Kamala deadlocked at 48 percent.

While the race was tied, the poll’s internals provided a path to victory for Trump.

The poll also found that 50 percent of voters say the economy is the top issue.

A majority of Pennsylvanians think Trump winning is best for their personal financial situation.

“Voters were asked which presidential candidate they thought would be better for their personal financial situation. A majority of voters (51%) think Trump is the better candidate, while 44% think Harris is the better candidate for their financial situation in Pennsylvania,” Emerson wrote of the poll’s results.

Emerson found that 60 percent of Pennsylvania voters – including 65 percent of independents – say they are worse off today than they were four years ago when Donald Trump was President.

If Trump can harness this discontent with the economic status quo under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, then he can win Pennsylvania and ultimately the White House.
