Donald Trump hit Nikki Haley with a brutal reality check that left her speechless
Donald Trump is working hard to shore up his support among women voters ahead of the November 5 election.
Former rival Nikki Haley offered to help him in this endeavor.
But Donald Trump hit Nikki Haley with a brutal reality check that left her speechless.
Nikki Haley still resents Donald Trump
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is as RINO as a Republican politician can get.
She represents the George Bush / John McCain / Mitt Romney wing of the Republican Party.
Haley supports open borders, endless wars, abortion-on-demand, and thinks doctors should be allowed to perform sex-change operations on children.
Even though she had previously promised not to run against former President Donald Trump, Haley went back on her word and made a bid for the GOP nomination.
But Republican Primary voters rejected her at the ballot box and she dropped out of the race after Super Tuesday.
And after attacking him throughout the Primary, Haley endorsed Trump and spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Of course, Haley despises Donald Trump.
When she launched her new podcast a few months back, Haley admitted that “you’re not going to hear me say glowing things about Donald Trump’s personality” because “I have issues with him.”
But Nikki Haley is a politician.
She recently offered to help Trump shore up his support among women during the final weeks of the campaign.
Donald Trump fires back at Nikki Haley
Donald Trump appeared on Fox & Friends.
Host Brian Kilmeade asked him if he would accept Haley’s offer to help with his appeal to women voters and dissatisfied Republicans.
Trump told Fox News viewers “I’ll do what I have to do.”
But he did remind viewers of what happened when Haley tried to challenge him in the Primary.
“But let me just tell you: Nikki Haley and I fought, and I beat her by 50, 60, 90 points – I beat her in her own state by numbers that nobody’s ever been beaten by!” Trump said. “I beat Nikki badly! I beat everyone else, too — badly.”
“Frankly I set records – both in speed and in the magnitude of the win,” Trump added. “Everybody keeps saying that.”
Trump said he’s surprised that everyone keeps telling him to get her help but “they don’t say get Ron [DeSantis], and Ron did very well.”
As for Haley, he put her on notice that she made a mistake by running against him and he will not forgive her.
“And they keep talking about Nikki, Nikki, I like Nikki,” Trump declared. “Nikki, I don’t think, should have done what she did, and that’s fine that she did it, but even in her own state — in South Carolina, where she was the Governor — I beat her by a number. And then they say, ‘Oh when is Nikki coming back in?’”
However, he did admit that “Nikki is helping us already.”
Trump has already held five town halls with a female host to appeal to women voters.
If Trump does accept Haley’s offer to help, many believe it will be a town hall event in one of the swing states.
