Donald Trump leads Joe Biden in the polls.

But he isn’t going to leave anything to chance.

And Donald Trump has one secret weapon that will enrage Joe Biden.

Republican National Committee to use “every tool” at its disposal to boost Trump

In previous elections, Democrats ran circles around Republicans with mail-in, early voting, and ballot harvesting programs.

These legal ballot-chasing operations proved to be the difference in swing states.

Republicans resolved to get better and former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced the creation of the “Bank Your Vote” program to improve the ability of Republicans to compete with Democrats on the ballot-chasing front.

“To beat Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2024, we must ensure that Republicans bank as many pre-Election Day votes as possible,” The Epoch Times reported McDaniel saying in June 2023 to announce the program’s creation. “Banking votes early needs to be the focus of every single Republican campaign in the country, and the Republican National Committee will lead the charge.”

Banking votes is critical to winning elections these days.

Parties that can turn out their most dedicated voters early leave themselves more time and resources to expand the electorate by turning out irregular voters.

New Republican National Committee Chairman commits to vote chasing program

Republican National Committee members elected North Carolina GOP Chairman Michael Whatley to succeed McDaniel after former President Donald Trump forced her out and endorsed him as her successor.

Shortly after his election, Whatley sent around a memo to staff telling them they would be keeping several initiatives that began under McDaniel such as minority voter outreach centers – polls show Trump poised to win a historically high percentage of the black and Latino vote – as well as the “Bank Your Vote” program.

“Despite what you may have heard, we are not closing community centers,” Whatley wrote. “We are aggressively pursuing programs to grow our base and maximize opportunities to engage with Americans, utilizing all existing tools for our voters to cast ballots.”

Whatley added that the “Bank Your Vote” effort will “continue educating and empowering voters to feel confident in early voting and voting by mail.”

The new chairman explained it was foolish to leave the field to Democrats to chase ballots and use every legal turnout method available.

“Every tool that the other side has used, we need to wield for ourselves,” Whatley concluded. “We will strive relentlessly towards historic accomplishments and fully modernizing the organization between now and Election Day.”

The change in leadership showed early signs of benefiting the party as new Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump reported the committee had its best online fundraising weekend since 2020.

“I am proud to announce that last weekend the GOP had the largest digital fundraising weekend since 2020. Much more to come…we are just getting started!” Lara Trump wrote on X.
