Two buildings in Northern California are about to go up for sale.
And one of them bears Nancy Pelosi’s name.
“President Donald Trump’s administration is looking to sell two government buildings in San Francisco, one of which bears the name of ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, according to a report. Trump’s team is hearing offers for the 640,000-square-foot Nancy Pelosi Federal Building and a century-old, 360,000-square-foot building currently serving as the General Services Administration’s headquarters,” the Daily Beast reported.
Former California Congresswoman Jackie Speier represented a California district from 2008 to 2023.
Speier whined to the media about Trump selling off these buildings.
“It’s another example of how he is coming after Democrats. He’s coming after California, and it’s all about payback,” Speier told ABC7 in Los Angeles. “The lease will keep going up and you will end up paying the property taxes of the lessor, whereas you don’t pay federal taxes when you are a federal government.”
Nancy Pelosi tried to destroy Trump from the moment Democrats won back the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm election.
The organizing principle of the Pelosi-run house was investigating Donald Trump as the set up for lawfare.
A hearing where disgraced former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen testified became the pretext for New York Attorney General Letitia James’ baseless civil fraud lawsuit against Trump.
The January 6 Committee that Pelosi organized put together the report that Jack Smith used for his sham charges in the January 6 witch hunt.
In between those two events, Pelosi tried to impeach Trump in the Ukraine hoax and then ripped up his State of the Union speech following the Senate acquittal.
There wasn’t any insult or slight petty enough for Pelosi not to hurl Trump’s way or to try and inflict upon him.
The government is in cost-cutting mode.
There is no way around that after Nancy Pelosi helped Joe Biden ring up a $36 trillion debt.
