Democrats started a civil war with this attack on Donald Trump

The level of Trump Derangement Syndrome on the Left has reached unthinkable levels.

But there is no coming back from crossing this one line.

And now Democrats started a civil war with this attack on Donald Trump.

House Democrats were feeling the pressure.

Their voters were frothing at the mouth in rage over how Congressional Democrats were helpless to do anything as President Trump signed executive orders, closed down government departments, cut off aid to Ukraine and sealed the border.

Some Democrats tried to show their rank and file that they understood their frustration by acting out at the State of the Union.

A group of Democrats held up paddles with words like “false” printed on them.

Others – like Ilhan Omar – walked out in the middle of the speech.

And most shamefully, Congressman Al Green (D-TX) got himself kicked out of the chamber and eventually censured by the House because he stood and began shouting at the President and refused to stop when asked by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

House Democratic leadership is privately confronting members who disrupted President Trump’s speech to Congress.

Democrat leadership was furious with this display and called the offending parties in for a talking to.

“Roughly a dozen Democratic disruptors — including Reps. Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and Maxine Dexter (D-Ore.) — were called into a “come to Jesus meeting” on Thursday morning,” Axios reported.

All the top Democrats in the House were there to impress on the malcontents how damaging their actions were.

Axios reported that “the top three House Democratic leaders were present: Jeffries, Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.).”

“They are not being talked to like they are children. We are helping them understand why their strategy is a bad idea,” one Democrat told Axios.

Democrats didn’t have to take leadership’s word for it.

Pollster Frank Luntz told CNBC that viewers were appalled by the Democrats’ conduct.

“The viewers really dislike[d] [it]. They saw this performance art. They saw it as a bad form of opposition,” Luntz stated.

Luntz explained that Democrats acting out during the speech crystallized the problem the party has connecting with voters right now: that Americans don’t know what they stand for beyond hating Donald Trump.

“And they’ve been asking the Democrats now since the beginning of this administration, ‘What is your alternative?’ As critical as I am of Trump’s communication, the Democrats are much worse,” Luntz added.

Luntz said Americans tuning in to the speech found the Democrats disruptive protests “abhorrent.”

“And in fact, what they decided to do with those paddles, what they decided to do with Congressman Green, was absolutely abhorrent to voters,” Luntz added.

And the biggest problem right now that Democrats have is the fact that voters support Trump’s agenda and believe it is the correct vision for the country.

“What the public is looking for right now, they believe that Trump’s agenda is correct,” Luntz concluded.
