The media pulled out all the stops to keep Donald Trump from winning the election.

Journalists tried to bury him in an avalanche of hoaxes.

And Bill Maher dropped the hammer on the media for pushing this big lie about Donald Trump.

Media creates a last-minute hoax against Donald Trump

Former President Donald Trump managed to win the election after the media acted like an unregistered Democrat super PAC during the campaign.

The final weeks of the race saw the media create one hoax and another in an attempt to derail Trump’s campaign.

Part of an interview between Trump and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was used to create a hoax that the former President called for RINO Liz Cheney to be executed with a firing squad.

Trump blasted Cheney for being a warmonger who was always eager to commit American troops to foreign conflict.

“She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it,” Trump said. “You know, when the guns are trained on her face. They’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, ‘Oh, gee, well, let’s send 10,000 troops into the mouths of the enemies,’ but she’s a stupid person and I used to have meetings with a lot of people and she always wanted to go to war with people.”

Media outlets began claiming that Trump called for Cheney’s death and that was another sign he was unfit for office.

The media tried to create a made-up controversy as a last-ditch effort to sink Trump’s campaign in the final days of the election.

But the shameless lying backfired on them.

Bill Maher calls out the media for being liars

Comedian Bill Maher slammed the media for lying about Trump’s comments about Cheney during an Overtime segment of his HBO show Real Time

“I woke up today to the headline that Trump had called for a firing squad for Liz Cheney,” Maher said. “And this is what I really don’t like about the media. No, he didn’t.”

Maher noted that Trump was expressing a common criticism of the war hawks.

“He’s criticizing him for being a war hawk. I mean, she is Dick Cheney’s daughter,” Maher exclaimed. “Now, of course, he expresses himself horribly. He has to add ‘she’s a stupid person’ because he’s a moron… Just to be clear, this is exactly what hippies always said. This is exactly what peaceniks always said. This is ‘Fortunate Son’ the song. It’s like, you know what? It’s very easy to sit in your building and send young men to die.”

He slammed the media for dialing up the hysteria over Trump.

“Just don’t lie to me,” Maher stated, “I don’t like Donald Trump. Don’t lie to me and tell me he wants her in front of a firing squad. He was saying something that, by the way, if it came out of the mouth, some of it, not the stupid part, again, sounds like what hippies used to say about not sending people to [war].”

The media’s hoaxes and lies against Donald Trump ultimately backfired on them.
