Bill Clinton was supposed to be out on the campaign trail for Kamala Harris.

But Bill Clinton went rogue.

And Bill Clinton just gave Donald Trump this last-minute endorsement.

Bill Clinton admits the economy was better under Donald Trump

At a campaign event in Michigan, Bill Clinton once again proved the most dangerous thing in politics is a live microphone in his hand.

Polls show Americans favor Donald Trump over Kamala Harris on the economy.

These polls also show that the economy is the number one issue.

Clinton tried to speak to this reality but ended up admitting the economy was better under Donald Trump than Kamala Harris.

“I don’t think it’s right to say that people have to vote for Donald Trump because the economy was better then,” Clinton began.

Clinton claimed his unique perspective as a two-term President that oversaw the beginnings of the tech boom and a prosperous economy made him qualified to say Trump did better with the economy than Kamala Harris.

“I think I’m entitled to my opinion about who would be better” Clinton said and that he “did pretty well.”

Inflation under Donald Trump was 1.4 percent.

Gas cost $2.39 per gallon.

Home mortgage rates were cheaper.

And Americans saw rising take-home pay that outstripped inflation.

Americans think Donald Trump was better than Kamala Harris on the economy because they lived the last eight years.

Bill Clinton admitted as much in his comments.

And just to put an exclamation point on the matter, the October jobs report showed the economy created a disastrous 12,000 jobs as the chickens came home to roost on Kamala Harris’ socialist spending spree letting the inflation genie out of the bottle and the secretive Federal Reserve responding with interest rate hikes.

Not the first time Bill Clinton endorsed Donald Trump

Bill Clinton also undercut Kamala Harris on the border.

Clinton previously campaigned for Kamala Harris in Georgia.

And that also turned into a public relations fiasco for Kamala Harris.

That’s because Bill Clinton was trying to make common cause with rural Georgia voters.

Immigration is hugely important to these voters and Clinton admitted that nursing student Laken Riley – who an illegal alien murdered when she went for a run on the University of Georgia campus – would still be alive if Kamala Harris did her job as border czar.

“You had a case in Georgia not very long ago, didn’t you? They made an ad about a young woman who’d been killed by an [illegal] immigrant,” Clinton told the crowd.

“Well, if they’d all been properly vetted that probably wouldn’t have happened,” Clinton admitted.

Polls show the border is the second most important issue to voters.

It’s also the one where Donald Trump has the largest edge.

And on the two most important issues to the American people, Bill Clinton’s gone on the campaign trail and said Donald Trump was better than Kamala Harris.
