Since it’s election season it’s time for sports figures to get all political.

Americans usually roll their eyes at celebrity endorsements.

And an NBA coach launched this insane tirade about Donald Trump.

Gregg Popovich flips out on Donald Trump

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is a curmudgeonly figure who is famously curt to reporters.

But since he’s an outspoken leftist, the press views him as a sage figure with something important to say.

After the Spurs 109-106 victory over the Houston Rockets, a reporter asked Popovich about the election even though it had nothing to do with the game.

“Do you want me to speak for an hour?” Popovich replied.

He then flew into a tirade where he attacked former President Donald Trump in ugly personal terms.

“He’s pathetic. He’s small. He’s a whiner. We all know that. But you wouldn’t have him babysit your kids. You wouldn’t hire him—if you had a small business, you want that man in your business? There’s no way. But we’re going to vote for him for President?” Popovich raged.

Popovich then falsely claimed Trump ducked a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris because he was too afraid to faceoff with her again after their last encounter.

“Because he’s strong? Kamala Harris whipped his a** in that debate, and he’s running ever since he doesn’t want any part of her. Because, as she said before, she’s eaten many of his type for lunch as an Attorney General, as a prosecutor. He’s a small fry compared to some of the people she’s gone after, and he knows it,” Popovich added.

Spurs coach makes bizarre claim about the start of Trump’s political career

Kamala is calling Trump Hitler and her campaign claimed the more than 20,000 Trump supporters that attended his rally at Madison Square Garden were Nazis yet Popovich fumed about the former President running a negative and divisive campaign.

“So all he can do is cut people down and do what he does. We’ve all seen all that kind of stuff. The ones that you can be even more angry about, because he’s sick, he’s a damaged man. He grew up the biggest wannabe there ever was in New York, right? We all know that. He wanted to be in the inner circle. But they laughed at him his whole life,” Popovich continued.

Popovich said Trump resented that polite society never accepted him – citing former President Barack Obama roasting Trump at the 2011 White House Correspondents Association Dinner – as the reason he entered politics.

“Just like Obama made fun of at that dinner, and he was about to melt. It angered him so bad, it was scary. But he was never accepted, he was treated like a fool, like a clown, and now he’s able to just give the finger to the world because of his position now. And that’s what he’s doing, he’s getting back at everybody, because he’s so small he’s got to go after everybody,” Popovich concluded.

Popovich spokes for the tens of millions of Democrats infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome who are growing more unhinged as the election approaches and Kamala Harris’ poll numbers stagnate.
