Former Biden family associate Tony Bobulinski testified that Joe Biden was “more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business.”

Republicans have gathered a mountain of evidence suggesting Hunter Biden traded his father’s influence for cash.

But all hell broke loose when a top House Republican revealed the disturbing truth on why his GOP colleagues will not impeach Biden.

The House Oversight Committee held an impeachment inquiry hearing into President Joe Biden.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) invited Hunter Biden, former family business associates Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis, as well as Hunter’s “best friend in business,” Devon Archer, to testify before the Committee.

But Biden and Archer were nowhere to be found at the hearing.

Archer’s lawyer informed the Committee that “providing such short notice for a witness’s public appearance before the Committee on a matter of national importance is patently unreasonable.”

He is already expected to serve a prison sentence for his role in defrauding a Native American tribe out of millions of dollars.

Bobulinski and Galanis both showed up for their testimony.

But it did not go well for Hunter and Joe Biden.

In a previous testimony, Archer told the Committee that Hunter placed his father on speakerphone to speak with his business associates numerous times over the years.

Galanis confirmed the testimony previously given by Archer and recalled a time when then-Vice President Joe Biden was put on speaker to talk with a Russian oligarch and former Mayor of Moscow.

Witness drops bombshell at impeachment inquiry hearing

Bobulinski used his opening testimony to detail three instances where Hunter Biden committed perjury.

As Breitbart reported, “Bobulinski questioned the timing of when Hunter began to work with CEFC, he argued that Hunter did not tell the truth when he claimed that President Joe Biden never interacted with Hunter’s associates and that Hunter ‘lied’ about leveraging Joe Biden to receive a $5 million payment from CEFC.”

According to Bobulinski, Joe Biden was much “more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business.”

Instead, he alleged that Biden “was an active, aware enabler who met with business associates such as myself to further the business, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.”

Despite the mountain of evidence piling up against Joe Biden, one House Republican does not expect his colleagues to impeach the President.

Impeachment not in the cards for Joe Biden

Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) serves on the House Oversight Committee.

And he told Fox News Digital that he is almost certain that the hearing will do nothing to motivate his colleagues to vote for impeachment.

“Everybody’s gonna vote how they know they’re gonna vote,” Burchett said. “What a lot of people are worried about [is] if we do have a vote. I want to vote on it up or down.”

By “up or down,” Burchett means holding a roll-call vote so Americans can know exactly who voted for and who voted against impeaching Joe Biden.

But when push comes to shove, he’s not optimistic about his fellow Republicans betraying their “K Street buddies” by voting for impeachment.

Burchett said many Republicans told K Street lobbyists that they would not have to vote on impeachment while promising to vote for impeachment when talking to voters back home.

“When asked why they could be worried, Burchett said, ‘They told some of their K Street buddies, ‘I’m not going to vote for this thing,’ because they don’t think they’re gonna have to vote on it. They told people back home, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m gonna impeach.’”

However, Burchett said the sad truth is that his colleagues “don’t have the guts to do it.”
