Trump Hater Behind Big Bang Theory Admitted the Truth on Joe Rogan About What Happens When Nations Drop God

Chuck Lorre stood at a Los Angeles charity gala and called President Trump a Russian asset.

Weeks later, the man behind The Big Bang Theory sat down with Joe Rogan to talk about God.

What Hollywood's sitcom king admitted about nations that drop God could have come from any small-town pulpit.

Lorre Told Rogan Godless Nations Trade Faith for a Dictator

Lorre went on The Joe Rogan Experience the same day his memoir, Sitcom, hit shelves.

This is the man who built Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and Young Sheldon into a television empire.

He has the money, the fame, and every corner office Hollywood can hand out.

So when the conversation turned to the emptiness that chases a man who has all of it, Lorre did not dodge.

He said material success is not the answer.

He warned he would probably regret what came next.

Then he said it anyway – the only real fix is spiritual, and it has to come from somewhere beyond the here and now.

He did not stop there.

Lorre said faith gives human beings a way to organize their lives that no animal has ever had.

Every civilization that pushed God aside, he said, filled the hole – "they replaced it with a communist party, with a fascist dictator."

He laid out the strongman's pitch in plain words.

"Organize around me. Doesn't matter if I'm right or not, organize around me."

He compared shared faith to the center pole of a tent.

Move that pole, he said, and people panic and get angry.

Rogan agreed, saying some of the nicest people he knows are legitimately spiritual.

One of them is a Christian man he knows who builds homes for the homeless.

Rogan also complained that the word spirituality has been hijacked by flaky phonies who gave it a bad name.

Lorre said he did not want to be lumped in with the New Age crowd either.

He just did not know any other way to say it.

The Same Lorre Branded Trump the Gangster-in-Chief

This is not some closet conservative finally speaking up.

Back in 2019, Lorre used the vanity card that flashes after his shows to brand Trump the "Gangster-in-Chief."

In September 2026, he took the stage at the Project Angel Food Angel Awards in Los Angeles.

He used the moment to take a vile shot at First Lady Melania Trump.

He also joked about checking whether the President had suffered a fatal heart attack.

Raised Jewish, Lorre joined Scientology as a young man and later embraced Buddhism.

He is the last man in Los Angeles anyone expected to make the case for God on the biggest podcast in America.

He made it anyway.

John Adams Warned America About This in 1798

The Founders understood exactly what Lorre stumbled into.

In 1798, President John Adams told a Massachusetts militia that the Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.

Adams put it bluntly in a 1776 letter to his cousin: "The only foundation of a free constitution, is pure virtue."

The twentieth century proved him right in blood.

The Soviet Union tore down churches and turned the Communist Party into a god.

Mao's China did the same.

Tens of millions died under regimes that answered to no one higher than the man in charge.

America's Church Membership Fell Below Half for the First Time

Americans are drifting down the same road.

Gallup reported in 2021 that church membership in the United States had dropped to 47 percent.

Two decades earlier it stood at 70 percent, and back in 1937 it was 73 percent.

When the pews empty out, something always moves in to fill the space.

Gavin Newsom Tried to Make Himself the Pole in Lorre's Tent

Lorre was talking about Stalin and Mao when he laid out that strongman's pitch.

Californians got a smaller taste of the same thing during COVID.

Gavin Newsom banned indoor church services across most of the state.

Marijuana dispensaries stayed open as essential businesses.

The Supreme Court had to step in before churches could hold indoor services again.

That is the same organize-around-me demand, dressed up as public health.

Pull God out of the center of the tent, and the government steps right in to take His place.

Lorre walked into Rogan's studio and laid out the argument conservatives have made for generations.

He just cannot see that the politicians his Hollywood friends cheer are the ones reaching for that pole.

Faith is not the threat to freedom.

Losing it is.
