Herridge Exposes the Email That Caught Officials Burying China’s Election Meddling

Trump revealed Thursday night that China stole 220 million American voter files starting in 2020.

Herridge told NewsNation the email lines up with a whistleblower complaint she had already been tracking, and that the documents now back up what that whistleblower alleged all along.

That pattern already has a name attached to it – Christopher Porter, the former national intelligence officer for cyber, whose own whistleblower complaint about downplayed China intelligence surfaced in earlier reporting months before Herridge's discovery.

This was not a low level clerical call.

Herridge described the China operation as a "multi domain" campaign – reaching into trade, diplomacy, open source information, and social media all at once.

And according to Herridge, the analysts working that operation chose silence over disclosure – on Trump's watch, right before an election.

Trump did not wait around for internal reviews to sort it out.

He is now directing the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, DOJ, FBI, and CIA to find out who buried it.

The Denver Gazette reported that Trump accused the deep state of having worked to actively suppress and downplay information about China's election meddling.

If the analyst's own words hold up, that is not an accusation anymore – it is a confession with a date stamp on it.

The 220 Million Number Is Not Just a Statistic

Voter registration fraud.

Identity theft.

Recruitment of American citizens as assets for a foreign government.

She and her NewsNation host landed on the only word that fits what China built – espionage.

RedState's reporting on the announcement noted that even CNN was forced to call the disclosure alarming, a rare admission from a network not known for taking China's threats seriously.

The documents show something more organized than a random hack – Beijing built and staffed an entire unit whose job is exploiting this stolen voter data.

Republicans Want the SAVE Act Now, Democrats Want to Move On

Republicans in Congress read the same documents, and they are not waiting for hearings to act.

Senator Rick Scott said Communist China is our enemy and will stop at nothing, and tied the threat directly to passing the SAVE America Act.

Senator Bill Hagerty said the Senate must immediately pass the bill and hold every foreign adversary accountable for meddling in American elections.

Democrats had a different reaction entirely.

Chuck Schumer dismissed the entire push in four words captured by Fox News – not now, not ever.

Schumer did not address the buried PDB email or the 220 million stolen voter files.

He moved straight to attacking Trump personally instead, which tells you everything about which story Democrats would rather Americans forget.

The SAVE America Act – requiring photo ID and proof of citizenship to vote – has already passed the House and sits stalled in the Senate months later.

Why This Cover Up Should Terrify Every Voter

The scariest part of this story is not that China stole data – everyone already assumed Beijing was trying.

What's worse is that an American intelligence analyst wrote down that admission and hit send, confident nobody outside the building would ever read it.

That confidence only exists in an agency that has learned nothing happens to people who bury the truth.

Herridge's reporting suggests this was not one rogue analyst freelancing – it fits a pattern whistleblowers like Christopher Porter had already been raising for years, and the system worked to smother it.

Every voter whose registration file sits inside that stolen 220 million now has to wonder whether their own government would have told them if the analysts had gotten away with it.
