Tulsi Gabbard Used Her Last Day as DNI For One Final Patriotic Act That Should Put Fauci in Prison for Years

Tulsi Gabbard just walked out of the intelligence community for good.

But she wasn’t leaving before one final act of service to the American people.

She made sure Anthony Fauci's secrets were walking out into the light with her.

The CIA Briefing He Swore Never Happened

On her final day as Director of National Intelligence, Gabbard declassified hundreds of never-before-seen documents, emails, and whistleblower accounts exposing how Fauci funded dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, then used his position to steer America's intelligence agencies away from their own conclusions.

She called it what it was.

"Dr. Fauci provided millions in U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus' lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024," Gabbard said. "It's time you know the truth."

He Told Congress He Never Talked to the CIA

In 2024, under oath before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Fauci was asked directly whether he had spoken to "FBI, CIA, DIA or any U.S. intelligence agency concerning viral research" before, during, or after the pandemic.

He dodged the question several times.

Then he said: "Not to my knowledge about COVID."

The CIA's own paperwork says otherwise.

Gabbard's documents include a readout of a June 2021 secure video teleconference – 40 minutes – involving CIA personnel, NSC officials, and Fauci.

During that call, Fauci offered views on pangolin research, the Wuhan lab's sick researchers, and virus lineage evidence.

He recommended specific scientists for the intelligence community to consult.

Those scientists were the same ones who co-authored the "Proximal Origin" paper – the influential March 2020 publication that publicly dismissed a lab origin as implausible and that Fauci had shaped behind the scenes.

He funded the research.

He influenced the paper that cleared the research.

He directed the intelligence community to the authors of that paper.

Then he told Congress he never spoke to anyone about it.

Gabbard referred the perjury evidence to the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

The Weapons Experts They Dismissed

While Fauci was steering the intelligence community to his hand-picked virologists, America's own weapons experts were reaching a very different conclusion.

By May 2020, the Z Division – the Department of Energy's elite biological weapons analysts at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory – assessed that "all the necessary conditions for an accidental release of a laboratory-modified coronavirus – specifically a coronavirus adapted to recognize human cell receptors – were present at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in mid-to-late 2019."

These are the people America trusts to analyze foreign weapons programs.

The National Intelligence Council higher-ups dismissed them anyway.

The FBI concluded lab leak.

Dismissed.

The National Center for Medical Intelligence concluded lab leak.

Dismissed.

CIA scientific analysts concluded lab leak multiple times between 2021 and 2023.

Their conclusions never reached Congress.

Meanwhile, virologist Ralph Baric – who had worked with the Wuhan lab on coronavirus experiments and co-signed a 2018 grant proposal to engineer viruses carrying the same unique genetic features found in COVID-19 – advised the intelligence community at least four times during those same years.

The notes from his classified meetings are entirely redacted in the documents Gabbard released.

What Happened to the Analysts Who Told the Truth

The most damning section of Gabbard's release is about what happened to the people inside the intelligence community who refused to go along.

Multiple whistleblowers reported that analysts who challenged the official COVID-origin narrative lost standing, lost assignments, and in some cases lost their careers.

Dissent was not debated.

It was buried.

Gabbard referred every one of those accounts to the Intelligence Community's Inspector General on her way out the door.

The COVID pandemic killed over a million Americans and locked down this country for two years.

The man at the center of it – who funded the research, shaped the cover story, briefed the intelligence community, and then looked Congress in the eye and denied all of it – was pardoned by Joe Biden in December 2024.

Biden signed that pardon before a single one of these documents was public.

Tulsi Gabbard made sure they became public anyway.
