Kash Patel Just Declassified the Two FBI Operations They Never Wanted You to Find

FBI agents wrote in an internal email that they had no probable cause to raid Trump's home – and the Biden DOJ told them they "didn't give a damn."
That was one operation out of four.
Kash Patel just found the other three – and what's inside them is worse.
The Weaponized FBI Ran Four Code-Named Secret Operations Against Trump
Most Americans know about Crossfire Hurricane – the operation the Obama FBI launched in 2016 to spy on the Trump campaign using a fraudulent dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton.
Most Americans know about Arctic Frost – the Biden-era probe that targeted nearly 400 conservative groups and individuals tied to the January 6 election certification challenge.
What they don't know is what happened in between.
According to a bombshell report from Just the News, the FBI ran two additional secret counterintelligence operations sandwiched between the known ones – code-named Round River and Plasmic Echo – and the surveillance continued all the way through Trump's inauguration day in January 2025.
Nine straight years – from the day Trump announced his candidacy to the morning he was inaugurated a second time – the FBI had an active counterintelligence operation targeting him.
Kash Patel personally led the review of all four operations and found evidence of a dragnet that subjected hundreds of innocent Americans to wiretaps, FISA surveillance, phone record seizures, and grand jury subpoenas.
The targets weren't foreign agents.
They were members of Congress and their staffers, campaign advisers, defense attorneys, journalists, a filmmaker – and Patel himself.
A recent GAO audit report to Congress revealed that at least 1,200 Americans in constitutionally protected categories – lawyers, politicians, journalists, religious figures – were opened for FBI assessment between 2018 and 2024 under Chris Wray's watch.
FBI Agents Said No Probable Cause for Mar-a-Lago Raid and Biden DOJ Did It Anyway
Plasmic Echo was the FBI's code name for the classified documents investigation – the one that ended with armed federal agents raiding a former president's home in August 2022.
Patel has turned over documents to Capitol Hill showing that the FBI's own agents told the Biden DOJ they lacked probable cause to execute that search warrant.
Internal emails show an FBI supervisor writing that the evidence was "single source" and "has not been corroborated," and asking whether, without new information, it was time to table the investigation entirely.
The Biden DOJ's response, in Patel's own words: they "didn't give a damn" and ordered the raid anyway.
Merrick Garland personally signed off on it.
Wiles' unidentified attorney – who the FBI claimed had consented to a wiretapped call between himself and Wiles – told Axios he never consented to any such thing and was as shocked as she was.
Patel has since fired at least ten FBI employees connected to the operation, including agents across field offices in Miami, Atlanta, and New York.
The Hidden FBI Operation That Targeted Anyone Who Questioned Biden and Hunter
The most dangerous of the four probes may be the one that's still mostly classified.
Round River started as a counterintelligence investigation into Rudy Giuliani – opened in the FBI's Pittsburgh field office specifically because Giuliani was digging into the Biden family's corrupt dealings in Ukraine.
Then it expanded far beyond him.
Whistleblower evidence has raised grave concerns inside Congress that people caught in Round River's net may have been targeted for nothing more than their speech.
The threshold for opening someone as a national security threat, sources indicate, was simply repeating allegations about Biden family corruption that the FBI's counterintelligence division had labeled "Russian disinformation."
Think about what that means.
Reporters who covered the Hunter Biden laptop story. Lawmakers who raised questions about Burisma. Lawyers who represented clients in Ukraine-related matters. Filmmakers.
All potentially logged as national security threats because they said things the FBI had decided were disinformation.
Sen. Chuck Grassley has been pressing on this since 2022. His team documented that the FBI was taking verified, corroborated evidence about Hunter Biden – and deliberately classifying it as Russian disinformation to justify surveillance of anyone who repeated it.
"The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility," Grassley wrote at the time.
Criminal Indictments Are Coming
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon told Just the News that criminal charges are possible for federal officials who ran politically weaponized investigations against Trump and his supporters.
The statute she's focused on is the civil rights conspiracy law – the same one passed to prosecute Ku Klux Klan members who used government authority to strip citizens of their rights.
Federal prosecutors in Miami are already building what sources describe as a potential grand conspiracy case spanning 2016, 2020, and 2024.
Patel says the first indictment decisions could come within weeks.
The files themselves were deliberately buried – locked inside "prohibited access" folders in the FBI's internal case management system, shielded from view even by most agents in the building, then physically stored in classified SCIFs where only a handful of senior officials could reach them.
Whoever hid them assumed they would stay hidden forever.
They didn't account for Kash Patel.
The Obama officials who fabricated a Russian collusion case against a presidential candidate, and the Biden officials who spent years surveilling Americans for the crime of asking questions – they're about to find out what accountability looks like.
