Donald Trump faced one demand to surrender that no one saw coming

President Trump hit his first roadblock in his second term.

Trump’s Presidency now faces an inflection point.

And Donald Trump faced one demand to surrender that no one saw coming.

President Trump campaigned on a promise to use tariffs to rebalance America’s trade deficit and force other countries to treat us fairly.

It came as no surprise when the President announced he would impose 25 percent tariffs on all goods from Mexico and Canada since both countries neglected securing their borders with the United States.

Globalists on Wall Street panicked and began dumping stocks leading to the market retreating to levels below where it was when President Trump took office.

Trump told reporters he doesn’t look at the stock market as an indicator for his economic agenda.

“I’m not even looking at the market, because long term the United States will be very strong with what is happening here,” Trump stated.

Republicans across the ideological spectrum, however, did panic.

RINO Thom Tillis – who is leading support of amnesty for illegal aliens and a blank check for Ukraine – called on Trump to retreat.

“When we start losing, you back off. There’s such a thing as strategic retreat,” Tillis told reporters. “At the end of the day, I think we have more leverage than any other nation. But we gotta be smart. And we don’t have all the leverage.”

Even conservatives refused to back President Trump on tariffs.

“Almost every industry in Kentucky has come to me and said, ‘It will hurt our industry and push up prices of homes, cars, and so, I’m gonna continue to argue against tariffs,” Kentucky Senator Rand Paul stated.

But Trump also said the tariffs were a negotiating tool.

The President announced he was pausing the tariffs with Mexico for one month after Mexico stepped up on enforcing border security to prevent drug cartels from trafficking fentanyl into America.

“After speaking with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, I have agreed that Mexico will not be required to pay Tariffs on anything that falls under the USMCA Agreement. This Agreement is until April 2nd. I did this as an accommodation, and out of respect for President Sheinbaum. Our relationship has been a very good one, and we are working hard, together, on the Border, both in terms of stopping Illegal Aliens from entering the United States and, likewise, stopping Fentanyl. Thank you to President Sheinbaum for your hard work and cooperation!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

But President Trump wasn’t so kind to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who Trump ripped for using the tariff fight to try and boost his chances of winning another term in his country’s upcoming election.

“Believe it or not, despite the terrible job he’s done for Canada, I think that Justin Trudeau is using the Tariff problem, which he has largely caused, in order to run again for Prime Minister. So much fun to watch!” Trump declared.
