One smoking gun just vindicated Donald Trump

President Trump picked one fight with the Left that Democrats thought was their moment to go on offense.
But Democrats got some bad news.
And one smoking gun just vindicated Donald Trump.
Democrats and the media claim transgender surgeries alleviate gender dysphoria, a psychological condition where people think they are born in the wrong body.
Past studies have shown that over 80 percent of children grow out of gender dysphoria as it’s just a phase.
And now a landmark study from researchers at the University of Texas studied more than 100,000 people suffering from gender dysphoria.
The results showed that undergoing transgender surgeries led to mental health disorders.
“Transgender individuals face “heightened psychological distress,” including depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation, “partly due to stigma and lack of gender affirmation,” as stated in the study, which was published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine,” Fox News reported.
There was no difference in the sexes as both men and women that underwent transgender surgeries experience increased rates of depression and anxiety.
“Males with surgery had depression rates of 25% compared to males without surgery (11.5%). Anxiety rates among that group were 12.8% compared to 2.6%.” Fox News also reported. “The same differences were seen among females, as those with surgery had 22.9% depression rates compared to 14.6% in the non-surgical group. Females who underwent surgery also had anxiety rates of 10.5% compared to 7.1% without surgery.”
Experts noted that the idea that undergoing a transgender surgery was some kind of cure-all, transgender surgeries were risky affairs that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
“While these surgeries can be critical in helping individuals align their physical appearance with their gender identity, they are not a cure-all for the mental health challenges many transgender individuals face,” psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert told Fox News.
Alpert warned that someone trying to cosmetically alter their appearance because they suffered from mental health issues was a dangerous roll of the dice.
“These findings suggest that surgery alone doesn’t eliminate the complex psychological burdens that stem from societal stigma and personal struggles with identity,” Alpert added.
“In fact, taking a scalpel to treat a psychological disorder can sometimes lead to more issues, as the study results are elucidating,” Alpert concluded.
The results of this study hit just as President Trump delivered his joint address to Congress.
In the speech, President Trump called it a lie that children could be born in the wrong body and asked Congress to pass laws criminalizing transgender surgeries for children.
“I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped in the wrong body. This is a big lie. And our message to every child in America is that you are perfect exactly the way God made you,” President Trump declared.
