Bill Maher roasted Democrats for this embarrassing attack against Donald Trump

Democrats are trying to find ways to resist Donald Trump.
They’re flailing around looking for the winning formula.
And Bill Maher roasted Democrats for this embarrassing attack against Donald Trump.
Bill Maher and guests mock Democrats’ boycott over Donald Trump
Democrats are still struggling to find the right message and strategy to oppose Donald Trump.
The Trump administration’s flurry of actions has made it hard for Democrats to focus on a target.
Left-wing activist group People’s Union USA made headlines when it announced that it was launching an “economic blackout.”
The group encouraged Americans not to spend any money for 24 hours on February 28 to protest the billionaires, big corporations, and their influence on politics.
Comedian Bill Maher and his guests mocked the “no spend day” and the other protests that Democrats launched against Trump on his HBO show Real Time.
“This is something called the People’s Union USA. And they have something called —today I got emails about this from people — no spend day,” Maher began. “And it’s against the malign influence of billionaires, big corporations, and both major political parties on the lives of working Americans.”
Maher dismissed the boycott as a pointless stunt.
“And what it is, is you refrain from making any purchases, either in stores or online, to shun fast food, getting gas — for a full day! I know! That look on your face says it all! You’re right, it’s so f***ing stupid!” Maher exclaimed.
Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) said that participants in the boycott had “too much time on their hands.”
Democrats turn to dance to protest Trump
President Donald Trump moved to slash funding for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) after the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) exposed it as a woke slush fund.
Guest and CNN contributor Fareed Zakaria mocked protesters over USAID using interpretative dance to send a message to Trump.
“This is why I was saying that there really is a movement of people doing interpretive dances to protest the Trump administration’s cuts of USAID,” Zakaria said. “I mean, like, people are starving. You know, the thing about not winning, as you said, is you’re left with these kinds of absurdities. The answer is to figure out how to win elections.”
Zakaria urged Democrats to look to former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama to figure out how to be successful again.
“Bernie Sanders didn’t win, AOC hasn’t been President recently,” Zakaria noted.
Emmanuel – Obama’s former White House Chief of Staff – ripped the far-left.
“Breaking news, 100,000 new community police officers, or defund the police? Now which one do you think is going to work?” Emmanuel said.
He also took a swing at his own party.
“What’s really crazy about where the party’s gone, it’s taken in identity politics, that the only way you have moral standing is if you’re somehow been hurt,” Emmanuel stated. “And that is insane.”
The Left is trying to run its opposition to the Trump administration like they’re protesting on a college campus.
