The Supreme Court stepped in with one ruling that left Donald Trump jumping for joy

Donald Trump is still fighting the Left in court.

Lawfare is all the Democrat Party has left.

And the Supreme Court stepped in with one ruling that left Donald Trump jumping for joy.

Government bureaucrats are throwing every legal argument at the wall in the hopes that something sticks.

The deep state and Democrats won some early victories at the District Court level.

That’s because for 12 of the last 16 years, Barack Obama and Joe Biden were President and they got to stack the lower courts with left-wing activists who don’t care about the law and are just outcome oriented.

One of the executive orders President Trump signed that the Left immediately challenged was a 90-day freeze on foreign aid.

The order was part of a plan to dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) which the Left co-opted to spread money to left-wing political parties around the world to impose woke ideology on their countries.

But U.S. District Judge Amir Ali – Joe Biden appointee – issued a temporary restraining order on the spending freeze.

Judge Ali then gave the government a deadline to comply with paying out contracts and grants.

“Here, the stated purpose in implementing the suspension of all foreign aid is to provide the opportunity to review programs for their efficiency and consistency with priorities,” Ali stated.

Ali then claimed the head of the executive branch had no right to decide the manner in which the executive branch spent money.

“However, at least to date, Defendants have not offered any explanation for why a blanket suspension of all congressionally appropriated foreign aid, which set off a shockwave and upended reliance interests for thousands of agreements with businesses, nonprofits, and organizations around the country, was a rational precursor to reviewing programs,” Ali continued.

USAID funded nonsense programs like transgender comic books in Peru and transgender operas in Colombia.

According to CBS News “at least 230 USAID grants and contracts have been terminated or been subject to stop-work orders.”

The Trump administration filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court to stay Ali’s insane and radical order.

Acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris explained that Ali’s order amounted to putting a district court judge in charge of the federal payment system.

“What the government cannot do is pay arbitrarily determined demands on an arbitrary timeline of the district court’s choosing or according to extra-contractual rules that the court has devised,” Harris wrote in the motion to the Supreme Court.

“That mandate creates an untenable payment plan at odds with the President’s obligations under Article II to protect the integrity of the federal fisc and make appropriate judgments about foreign aid—clear forms of irreparable harm,” Harris added.

Chief Justice John Roberts stepped in and signaled that the fun and games leftist judges engaged in by issuing nationwide injunctions to stop the Trump agenda were over by blocking Ali’s stay and setting a quick deadline for the administration and the groups suing over the spending pause to respond.
