The View is one of the most reflexively leftist shows on television.

Donald Trump and everyone associated with him gets treated like the enemy.

And The View said one thing about Steve Bannon that turned heads across America.

For years, the media smeared Steve Bannon as a Darth Vader-like figure in the MAGA movement.

Bannon regularly faced lies about being a Nazi or white supremacist.

But the media also tends to treat Republicans with a “strange new respect” if they come out in opposition to the current boogeyman on the right.

And at the moment, there is no one the media hates more than Elon Musk.

The pro-Democrats media relentlessly attacks Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the thinking that if the media can brainwash the American people into thinking DOGE’s mission to cut $2 trillion in spending threatens their very way of life it will then sink President Trump’s poll numbers.

The View cohost Sara Haines is now treating Steve Bannon as a principled ally in this mission.

On a recent episode of the show, Haines praised Bannon for attacking Musk over DOGE’s spending cuts, specifically those targeting waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicaid program.

“I hate to say it, but I agree with Steve Bannon on this one purely because, you know, they’re cutting all these programs,” Haines stated.

Elon Musk wants to bring the type of thinking that turned him into the most successful businessman in world history to government.

Haines is horrified by this thought because it means slashing down the Left’s big government project.

“They’re saying they’re going to cut the fat and they have numbers. Before they ever went in, they said, we want to get 1 trillion out of you. That’s a businessman’s approach to a government. This is the public sector, not the private sector,” Haines added.

Bannon recently told the British outlet UnHerd that “Musk is a parasitic illegal immigrant,” adding that “he wants to impose his freak experiments and play-act as God without any respect for the country’s history, values or traditions.”

The feud between Musk and Bannon began when Musk declared he would run anyone out of the Republican Party that opposed the H1B visa program which allows tech companies – like Musk’s – to replace American workers with cheap foreign labor.

Haines then praised Bannon for defending some of the government programs that Musk targeted for spending cuts and proceeded to lie about Musk and DOGE desiring to cut Social Security.

“You don’t come in with numbers and you come in — you learn. You become an expert at what everyone’s doing, what their role is, who’s essential. And then you say it’s realistic to have this goal and then you cut the fat. The thing that Trump’s not doing, though, is he wants to keep some of the tax cuts he had originally said. And what Bannon stands for, which breaks with Elon Musk, is don’t tax over time, don’t tax Social Security, give the money to the people that need it the most,” Haines continued.

Joy Behar couldn’t believe what she was hearing and asked for clarification about Bannon.

“Who? Bannon says that? Wow, that sounds like a lefty to me,” Behar asked.

Haines said Behar heard right and that Bannon sounding like a lefty in defense of government programs was why she was praising him.

“Why do you think I said I agree with Steve Bannon? That rarely happens. But on this, I do agree with them. Trump ran on helping the people that voted him in. And what he’s doing is he’s in there now and he’s breaking in the corporate greed area, which is I’m going to give tax breaks to people that can afford it more than anyone else,” Haines stated.

Haines then falsely claimed Musk and Trump want to slash spending so they can cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans when Trump wants to extend tax cuts for every American as well as eliminate taxes on tips and social security benefits, two popular campaign programs targeted at the working class.

“Steve Bannon says it is going to hurt for all of us. We all got into this together. You need to give the breaks to the lower middle class. Stop slashing and helping the top. They don’t need more,” Haines concluded.

The bottom line is inflation skyrocketed the last four years because Joe Biden pumped trillions of new dollars into the economy as part of his project to turn America into a socialist nation.

Getting inflation under control means cutting spending.

DOGE’s mission to slash $2 trillion in spending helps Middle Class Americans by eliminating the worst tax of them all – inflation.
