Even anti-Trump ABC anchor admits Trump’s agenda is popular 

ABC’s Jonathan Karl is a certified Trump hater who cashed in on Trump’s first term in office by publishing books attacking Trump, his agenda and his supporters.

But even a hater like Karl had to bow to reality.

Karl did the unthinkable and spoke the truth about President Trump in an interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).

President Trump is more popular than ever, and Democrats are struggling to mount a counterattack.

Jeffries showed why so many Democrats think he’s unsuited for leadership when he tried to blame President Trump for the inflation Joe Biden caused by pumping trillions of new dollars into the economy.

“Donald Trump and Republicans consistently promised that they were going to lower the high cost of living. And they’ve done the exact opposite. They’ve shown no interest in lowering costs in the United States of America, which are too high,” Jeffries stated.

Trump was in office for barely a month and Jeffries absurdly tried to label Trump a failure.

“Housing costs are too high. Grocery costs are too high, childcare costs are too high, utility costs are too high. The cost of living is too high. In the United States of America. This country is too expensive. But they’ve broken their promise,” Jeffries added.

Even a hardcore Trump hater like Karl couldn’t countenance Jeffries departing the bounds of reality to attack Trump.

Karl pointed out to Jeffries that Trump’s poll numbers are higher than at any time in his first term.

“But Donald Trump’s favorability rating is actually higher than it ever was the first time around,” Karl began.

Karl then told Jeffries that a Marquette University Law School poll showed Trump’s executive orders on ending gender identity insanity and closing the border attracted near super majority support.

The ABC host asked Jeffries if in light of the popularity of Trump and his agenda, would Jeffries be willing to say Trump is doing right.

“A recent poll by Marquette looked at several of the things that he has done or says that he is going to do. And 63 percent favor the federal government’s recognition of only two sexes. Sixty percent favor deporting immigrants who entered the United States illegally. Sixty percent favor expanding oil and gas production. Fifty-nine favor declaring an emergency at the southern border. Is there anything you are seeing that Trump is doing that you are in favor of? Do you think it is the right thing to do?” Karl stated.

Jeffries showed Democrats are still thrashing about the political wilderness when he couldn’t even bring himself to say that closing the border – illegal crossings plummeted over 90 percent in Trump’s first term – or in rolling back the attempt to impose the weird concept that there are more than two genders were the right things to do.

Instead, Jeffries stuck to his losing message that Donald Trump was to blame for Joe Biden’s inflation.

“We’re just at the beginning. And the core promise that Donald Trump made is that he’s going to lower costs for everyday Americans. In fact, we were told that grocery prices would go down on day one on January 20th. Costs aren’t lower. In fact, costs are increasing. The price of eggs is skyrocketing. Out of control. Inflation is on the way up,” Jeffries whined.
