New York Attorney General Letitia James is currently fighting Donald Trump’s appeal of the sham $464 million verdict in the bogus civil fraud suit she brought against Trump and his business.
Even liberal legal analysts doubted the merits of James’ case and questioned if anyone not named Donald Trump would have faced the same lawsuit.
The appeals court justices sounded skeptical of the insane legal theory James advanced that Trump committed fraud by assessing the value of his assets on loan applications despite there being no victims.
James feels no sense of shame whatsoever and James is getting ready to challenge Trump in court again.
The latest act of aggression against Trump came in the form of a letter to New York state hospitals demanding they deflect a Trump executive order cutting off federal funding for hospitals that perform transgender surgeries.
“Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws,” James warned the hospitals.
James claimed halting mutilating children’s bodies ran afoul of New York’s Transgender Bill of Special Rights.
Hospitals in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Colorado halted transgender surgeries in the wake of Trump’s executive order.
Trump’s executive order was clear and left no wiggle room.
“The head of each executive department or agency (agency) that provides research or education grants to medical institutions, including medical schools and hospitals, shall, consistent with applicable law and in coordination with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, immediately take appropriate steps to ensure that institutions receiving Federal research or education grants end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children,” Trump’s executive order read.
Trump then halted federal research projects on gender identity insanity.
“The National Institutes of Health, for example, has demanded a halt to a large-scale study that was examining ways to prevent HIV infections in transgender youth of color before it could enroll participants this week. California clinics lost funding to provide care to hundreds of transgender patients. A federal scientific journal blocked publication of a paper that details the value of teaching transgender health,” the Washington Post reported.
James and the woke Left are picking a really bad fight.
A New York Times/Ipsos poll found 71 percent of Americans oppose transgender surgeries for minor children.
James and her Democrat allies are drawing a line in the sand where more than 70 percent of the public is not only against them in theory but also votes on this issue as evidenced by Trump making Kamala Harris’ support for taxpayer funded transgender surgeries for prisoners the central theme of his television commercials.
