Ilhan Omar is one of Donald Trump’s most unhinged critics.

There isn’t a slur Omar hasn’t hurled Donald Trump’s way.

And Ilhan Omar just said the last thing about Donald Trump anyone expected to hear.

Donald Trump promised to end the weaponization of the government and to drain the swamp.

Trump accomplished a two-fer by issuing an executive order stripping the 51 former intelligence community officials who signed a letter falsely claiming Hunter Biden’s laptop was the product of Russian disinformation of the security clearance.

Former CIA Directors John Brennan, Leon Panetta, and Michael Hayden, as well as former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper were among those losing their security clearance.

These deep state operatives leveraged their past positions to grant authority to a lie.

This lie put Joe Biden in the White House as Big Tech seized on the falsehood to censor the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story in the final weeks of the 2020 election.

Trump’s executive order revoking their security clearances explained that their meddling in partisan politics sapped the American people’s faith and trust in institutions they need to rely on.

“The signatories willfully weaponized the gravitas of the Intelligence Community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions.  This fabrication of the imprimatur of the Intelligence Community to suppress information essential to the American people during a Presidential election is an egregious breach of trust reminiscent of a third world country.  And now the faith of Americans in all other patriotic intelligence professionals who are sworn to protect the Nation has been imperiled,” Trump’s order read.

But Trump didn’t stop there.

Trump banned the letter signers from receiving access to secure government buildings.

A January 29 cabinet memorandum ordered national security agencies to “revoke unescorted access to secure U.S. Government facilities from the 50 former intelligence officials named in the Executive Order.”

“These individuals no longer possess a need to access secure facilities, and as outlined in the Executive Order, do not have the appropriate security clearances to access classified information,” the memo added.

Losing access to secure government buildings ended their usefulness to K Street and meant they likely wouldn’t be hired as lobbyists.

Trump’s order picked up a surprising supporter.

None other than Minnesota Congresswoman Ilan Omar who praised Trump for closing the revolving door between the deep state and lucrative swamp lobbying posts.

“I hope this list grows and the revolving door closes for good,” Omar wrote on X.

This isn’t the first time Omar admitted Trump did something right.

Omar was forced to concede that the only reason Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement to free hostages was because of Donald Trump.

“We knew that pressure applied by the United States would bring a ceasefire, and it’s just unfortunate that it was Trump’s pressure,” Omar stated.
